Khn'n-Rell is a Spellblade Elf Warrior played by Deadbones in The Silvermine Mountains.

Characteristics

Appearance

Khn'n-Rell is a Male Elf with pale skin, red eyes with bags underneath them and notably bald. He wears the standard Silvermine Mountain Prison uniform of a short sleeve, loose fitting grey shirt tattered at the tail and sleeves, grey capri pants, tatter on the legs, dark grey shoes and a dark grey belt. He also has bandages around his wrists and a golden Anti-Magic collar. During the ritual to summon The Ageless One, Khn'n-Rell stole the Winter Coat of Protection off of Elmar and was seen wearing it.

Khn'n-Rell, as a realized Cultist of Bones, can shed his skin, organs and muscles to reveal his true form as an undead skeleton.

Personality

Khn'n-Rell is a very manipulative smooth talker. He can easily convince those around him to follow his word, giving themselves to him and the Cult of Bones. Those who do not follow Khn'n-Rell's words are quickly disposed of by him, using his power as a cultist to defeat his enemies. Khn'n-Rell is insane, as he was able to stand inside a blanket of darkness without any side effects.

Relationships

Rufio

Rufio and Khn'n-Rell were cell mates in the Silvermine Mountains prison. Khn'n-Rell is quick to take advantage of Rufio's unstable mindset, promising a happy and peaceful life if he were to help him with his plans in the prison. Khn'n-Rell is able to manipulate and take advantage of Rufio, eventually converting him into a cultist.

DeNada

Acting as an undercover Cultist, DeNada was the deciding factor in Khn'n-Rell's hunt for the book needed for the conversion ceremony. The two were surprised to find another Cultist in the prison, and successfully performed the ceremony together.

Margaret O'Malley

Margaret and Khn'n-Rell entered the prison at the same time. Margaret was not as easily persuaded by Khn'n-Rell's words and plans, and only agreed to help out with his plan on the promise of escape. When the time for the ceremony came, Margaret attempted to back out of the deal, but gave in when it was apparent he had no choice, reluctantly joining Khn'n-Rell.

History

Background

Khn'n-Rell was once a successful captain of an Elven Squad, being able to fulfill his duties while simultaneously filling his other duties as a member of the Cult of Bones. He did this by indiscriminately killing any creature that was not an Elf, but this did not last long as he soon began burning down Elven Villages in the name of the Cult. The Elves then decided to put him in the Silvermine Mountains.

The Silvermine Mountains

Upon entering the prison, Khn'n-Rell immediately began to plot the Ceremony of Bones. First enlisting the help of his cellmate Rufio, the prisoner Porcs, Maragret O'Malley, and eventually Rusty, he explained that the elves were in possession of a book of great power, and he needed to acquire it. The group attacked the elves, fighting against Elmar and DeNada, ending with them acquiring the book, Denada revealing he is a Cultist, and Elmar left severely injured. Khn'n-Rell would steal Elmar's winter coat and Warp Blade. Khn'n-Rell conducted the ceremony, summoning The Ageless One, and collapsing the Silvermine Mountain.

Fate

After successfuly awaking the Ageless One from his slumber, Khn'n-Rell and the rest of his newly converted followers are at the bottom of the rumble of the Silvermine Mountains. Rob said that all of the Cultists would simply dig their way out when the area was evacuated.

Trivia

• Khn'n-Rell may be a reference to the Marvel Comics character, Khn'nr, who was an alien shapeshifter who believed to be the original Captain Marvel.
• In a tweet Deadbones revealed Khn'n-Rell and Ca-Rell are brother and sister, though this is not strictly canon because Deadbones only hinted at it during the stream and didn't state it outright. Notably, when Templeton Barringster asked what it would be like if he killed the crew's brothers, Ca-Rell said that he could try, but that her brother was "far away".
