Jebediah is a Triton Ground Kobold Paladin played by Justin in Den of Devils. Jebediah is a Kobold who has lost everything he owned save for his friend Scrag and his faith to the Light. Believing that the "End times" are approaching, Jebediah signed himself up for a suicidal mission to take out the offspring of the Fire Dragon Aspect Vlaurunga offered by Nisovin.

Characteristics

Appearance

Jebediah is described as a very unclean Kobold, with others commenting on his odor and dirty appearance. He has a very long and unkempt beard that is full of dirt and a very dirty face.

Personality

Jebediah has a doomsayer personality. He believes the end times are coming, often professing it to anyone who is willing to hear. When comforting Michael Langstrom, he reveals that he believes that by killing the divines, the world will be set straight once more, bring back both of their dead sons. However, this does not stop him from helping the group of mercenaries he is fighting with, but he will perform very self harming sacrifices in an attempt to bring himself closer to the Light.

He is very obsessed with the Light, even refusing to throw away his bible on the Light when told to by Nisovin in an attempt to stop Believers from spawning dangerous foes.

Scrag is a Kobold companion that first appeared in the Den of Devils campaign. Scrag was a follower of Jebediah, claiming to have been a reformed thief, having seen the Light. However, it is possible that he was still thieving from Jebediah who refused gold. Having followed Jebediah into the Den of Whelplings, Scrag was one of many who perished to the flames of the Dragon Whelplings.

History

Background

Jebediah has lost all of his friends and family, save for a Kobold thief named Scrag that he has reformed and converted into a disciple. Now preaching that the end times are near, he joined the band of mercenaries being called to action by Nisovin to kill the Gods, allowing the End Times to roll smoothly.

Fate

After nearly sacrificing himself to kill a Whelping to save Nisovin and his portal, Usu dragged Jebediah's unconscious body into the portal and teleported to safety.

Trivia

• Jebediah has never wet himself before in his life.
• Jebediah knows one of the most powerful and dangerous spells, a Dreamweaver spell known as Empahversion, that drains his lifeforce, and weakens him to the point of dying. This makes him the most powerful and dangerous Player Character to date.
