- Cain's large appearence, Warrior class and less intelligence nature may be a reference to Cain Marko AKA The Juggernaut. This fits into Deadbones' naming system.
- During the Character Creation, Roamin commented on Cain being a master of Item Knowledge. This is a reference to the Diablo Character, Deckard Cain.
- Cain is the first playable character to be a 2X2 tile.
