Virgo Sunsword is a Spellblade Grand Paladin played by Rob in The New Crew campaign. He is a powerful Elf who is the patriarch of the Sunsword Family.

Characteristics

Virgo is a very intimidating man who does not hesitate to put people in their place. During the fight with the Crew of the Bocoe, Virgo left the helm of his ship by leaping to extreme heights and landing in the middle of the Bocoe. He continued to display his physical prowess by staring down an extremely large Porc with out hesitation or reserve. The intimidating even goes past his physical prowess, as he managed to scare Merci to give up the fight and reserve to going to the Silvermine Mountains. Even with a glance, Phineas Barringster, his godson, was rendered in fear for his godfather. Once Virgo boarded, he mentioned how Phineas has irritated him in the past and proceeded to punch him in the face.

Appearance

Virgo is an strong elf, with paladin-looking armor. He has a scar over his left eye, and is seen to have thin white hair.

Personality

Not much is known about Virgo; however he seems to be a very tough, hardy elf. Being the father of Gwyneth Sunsword and a Grand Paladin, he has quite formidable strength, seeing as a normal punch did 20 stamina damage to his godson Phineas Barringster. He seems to be very disappointed in Phineas, when he sees him on the Bocoe, as part of the crew.

Relationships

Virgo is the father of Gwyneth Sunsword, as well as being the godfather of Phineas Barringster. Knowing that Virgo is the godfather of Phineas Barringster, he may also be the godfather of Templeton Barringster, as well as Xavius

A leap ability. (Was able to leap between two pirate ships, in The New Crew

Abilities

It is not currently known what all of the abilities Virgo has, but it is known he is a Paladin Spellblade Elf. Virgo was able to deflect Rick Snot's arcane beam, but it is unknown if this is an ability or if it was due to his armor.

History

Background

Many Years ago, Virgo Sunsword did battle with The Cult of Bones and their deity, The Ageless One. Although the Cultists, being members of an Ancient Skeletal race, were immune to most types of damage, Virgo found a way to defeat and kill off many of them. He also found a way to defeat the Ageless One, and force him into a prolonged slumber. Where the Ageless One slept, Virgo ordered the construction of Mountains on top of it. These mountains became the Silvermine Mountains.

The New Crew

After the crew of the Bocoe was able to steal the key from the beach resort house, the crew made they're way back to Nisovin. Where they we're encountered with an Elven ship containing many Sunclerics, and Virgo. Virgo was able to leap across to the Bocoe, from the ship he was commanding to attack the crew. Eventually he was able to round up most of the crew, with the exception of the two goblins, played by Roamin, specifically Marco, and Polo, as well as Rick Snot. After that, he sentenced them to the Silvermine mountains.

Trivia

• Virgo is very strong, doing twenty damage with no weapons in the final encounter of The New Crew.
• 10% of the Dungeoneer Encyclopedia is filled with facts about Virgo.
