Vanessa Squishwitz is a Spellblade Elf Bard played by Rob in both Battle of the Bards and The Sandbolds. She was the face and lead singer of the band known as the Future Winners. She is currently engaged to Danzen.

Characteristics

Appearance

Vanessa is a female Elf with pale skin, green eyes and a voluptuous figure. Vanessa's hair is a deep violet with a lot of volume and goes down to the nape of her neck, she has the left side of her head shaved. Vanessa wears a pink strapless top with black accents and two black stripes on it, a black belt with gold studs, and a pair of violet shorts. Her shoes are black with heels, with an exaggerated collar adorned with gold studs. Over this she wears a black, sleeveless jacket with the collar popped up, near the end of the jacket is a semi-translucent, sparkly, pink cloth that goes to her feet, and on her left bicep is two bands, with one adorned in gold studs. When performing, she will perform Disguise as to apply her make up, which is long yellow fingernails, yellow lipstick, black mascara and yellow eyeshadow.

She carries around her personal Flute, which is deep green in colour.

Personality

Vanessa is very self-absorbed, letting her own personal fame lead her to believe she is above others, such as Duncan and Popo. She often mistreats them and accuses them of sexual harassment. She tends to do whatever she wants, and this includes both taking/selling copious amounts of drugs and performing when she is not supposed to.

Notable Attributes

• She has very long fingernails, so long that when they punctured Duncan's eye, it caused the eye to start gushing blood.
• She uses the spell Disguise to disguise her voice, making it softer and more appealing to men.
  • Without Disguise on, her voice is more gravely, and rough.
• She is the main act for The Future Winners during the Battle of the Bards competition.
• Vanessa's hearing became very sensitive while she was at the Battle of the Bards, leading to her not only being able to detect noises from far away but also developing large headaches due to the amplified noises around her.

Danzen is Vanessa's fiancée.

Lynn and Vanessa are related to each other. They are seemingly rather close.

History

Battle of the Bards

Vanessa was the lead singing of The Future Winners.

The Sandbolds

Vanessa was first seen in this campaign giving out drugs to the party when they are visiting Lyn Azveltara. After then joining the party, her and Danzen end up falling madly in love. While visiting a town with apparent time magic in use, Danzen gets down on one knee and proposes; Vanessa accepts. Later, when Maelstrom transforms, she and her fiancée flee the scene sacrificing a few (30) Kobold cartel members to distract Maelstrom.

Fate

Vanessa was last seen fleeing Final Talon with Danzen from Maelstrom.

• Vanessa is the first character to use Disguise as a way to disguise something other than her appearance.
• Vanessa is the first character to suffer from a heart attack.
• Vanessa Squishwitz was the original character to be featured on the Spellslinger's cards in Season 2.
