Skeletons first appeared in The Jewel of the Dingo Isles. They are one of the most commonly seen Undead creatures, and are the result of when an Ageless loses their mind in death.

Characteristics

Skeletons are exactly what they are said to be: Animated skeletons. They lack all organs, skin and muscles and compensate their lack of sense with unorthodox methods, e.g. sight using some sort of magical sonar and communication through chattering of their jaws and bones. Their bodies are held together with a magical substance that gives off a faint, blue light. For some odd reason, the Skeletons of the Dingo Isles seem fond of Pot Puppies.

Abilities

Passives

  • Fire Immunity: Skeletons have the ability to be completely unharmed by fire. They can even walk around with flaming items on them without being inconvenienced.

History

The Crew of the Bocoe discover that the Dingo Isles are inhabited solely by skeletons. These skeletons guard the jewel and appear to be ruled over by an unnamed skeleton lord. These skeletons spend their days standing around not doing much. However they did have three Pot Puppies that they share amongst them. When the crew make an effort to steal the jewel they became aggressive. In the end they eventually steal the jewel and the pot puppies.

Whilst en route to Laeyuleaugh, Rick Snot introduces his shipmates to his favorite game, Unforgotten Realms. He, Cain, Marco, Polo, Young Ladyir, and Maelstrom begin a campaign where they are all elves fighting skeletons. However when Cain realizes that you cannot eat skeletons he becomes terrified. Rick, in an effort to keep him playing, changes it so they are a boat full of skeletons fighting an island full of Elves.

Non-Canon History

Skeletons first appeared during the second act of The Nuren Campaign. Residing in Bopen's Lair, they served the purpose of blocking their master's lair off from trespassers. The Dwarven Siblings, under the command of Kormac, entered the cave and were immediately met with hostile encounters from the undead beings.
