Wolster Vemtari is an old Dwelf Seeker played by Deadbones in The Grand Paladin Order. Wolster was once an esteemed Paladin who had retired after his wife passed away, but has rejoined the Grand Paladin Order to fight the new Ageless threat.

Characteristics

Appearance

Wolster is an Old Dwelf with white hair, and a white mustache. Wolster sports a sailor's hat on top of his head, and wears a tattered up outfit with a badge on it. He also has a Gnomish Scopeye on his left eye, and a pipe in his mouth.

Personality

Wolster is a respected Dwelf in the Paladin Order, due to his long time of service in the Order. He is a naturally gifted Commander and Fighter.He is depressed due to his wife having passed away, so he stopped consuming Silver, which causes him to age, but this allows him to be more powerful. He has no problem using dark magic unlike many of his fellow Paladins.

Notable Attributes

Because of his abstinence from Silver, and his aging, Wolster commonly suffers from heart attacks and palpatations, and he also tires more easily.

Relationships

Indria and Quinn Vemtari

Wolster loves his daughters; they have a very strong bond. Before his wife died, Wolster shared the work of raising his daughters with her, alternating time working for the Grand Paladin Order with raising his children. After the girls' mother died, however, he assumed total responsibility for raising Indria and Quinn - a duty he seems to have taken up happily, as he went on to run the Grand Paladin Order's childcare service after that. Wolster visits Indria and her sister Quinn from time to time at the Paladin Order Base. In her conversation with Gwynneth, Quinn mentions that she doesn't know what she'd do if her father died, and mournfully acknowledged the eventuality of his death since he's stopped taking silver.

Galen Sunsword

Wolster knows Galen at least in a professional context through his work with the Order, although Galen's readiness to discuss his anxieties surrounding ascending to the title of Grand Paladin suggest that they are friendly. Wolster offered Galen advice regarding taking Virgo's place, recommending that Galen follow his heart rather than blindly follow his father's desires. Galen ultimately took this advice, passing the title on to his sister.

Quinn Vemtari is a Dwelf Magician who is also the daughter of Wolster and is the member of Grand Paladin Order. History

Background

Wolster was in the Grand Paladin Order for quite some time. He eventually met his wife, Lorilind, and the two married in secret, and eventually had two kids, Indria and Quinn. Lorilind later passed away while exploring a Bennu Ruin, and her death put Wolster into a very depressive state. He stopped taking Silver, and claimed to have retired from the Grand Paladin Order. His two daughters eventually joined the Paladin Order.

Fate

After having defeated a Venomburner Broodmother and a brood of Spiders, Wolster's party reconvened to assess the damage. Wolster then told Galen Sunsword that he is coming out of retirement to help fight the Ageless threat.
