Jo Krisstal is a Triton Ground Kobold Booty Raider who is a crew member on the Bocoe during The Jewel of the Dingo Isles campaign. He is in charge of the port side cannons on the Bocoe.

Jo Krisstal is a Booty Raider Kobold.

Personality

He is extremely driven by treasure and is very greedy. He also shows no affection for Pot Puppies.

History

In his early pirating days he had his bandana, which makes it very sentimentally valuable to him. It is unknown at what point Krisstal joined the crew of the Bocoe, but he chose to follow Captain Merci for the sole reason of seeking out treasure.

Notable Traits and Abilities

Golden Shot

Jo may destroy a Treasure Card he owns to fire a golden shot/arrow with a ranged weapon that deals triple damage. This attack is great at interrupting other ranged attacks.

Grapple Gun

Jo may fire his grapple gun to hook it onto an object or target. Once hooked Jo can use it to swing as a free move, pull a target towards him or onto the ground. If he grapples a target and rolls an 18 or higher, he also pulls in a random Treasure Card.

Shiver Me Timbers

Jo releases a hypnotic wave at all targets facing in his direction. Each target becomes mesmerized until they take damage, attempting to snap out of the spell each turn. If Jo rolls an 18 or higher, he will cause one of the targets to come up and give him a random Treasure.

Trivia

• His name is a reference to a famous craigslist post about a "JO Crystal" or "Jack Off" Crystal. The man in the post apparently wore the crystal every time he masturbated and claimed that the crystal glowed while performing the act. He also claimed that wearing the crystal gave him confidence in "work, home, and social situations".
