Cow Frogs are large frog like creatures that feed primarily off Goblins. They are the female counterpart of the Bull Frog. The Cow Frog takes double damage from the inside.

History

Cow Frogs first appeared in the Kobold Headhunters campaign, when it attacked a group of Goblins and Kobolds in Kobold Mountains.

Characteristics

They feed off of Goblins, and will usually target them.

Species Environment and Nomenclature

Cowfrogs are the female variant to the cattle-like frog creature which reside in damp caves (Notably in Karazim) and presumably other similar environments. A male member of this species would be considered a "Bullfrog."

Physical Attributes

Cowfrogs tend to hang from ceilings of tall caves until disturbed which would mean it has some form of adhesive properties to do so. An active Cowfrog in search of food or in defense against intruders to it's home will capture it's prey with it's long tongue, pulling it into the Cowfrog's mouth then swallowing to it's stomach where a slow digestion process takes place.

Abilites

When inside a Cow Frog, characters will slowly take damage from stomach acid until they are digested. However, characters eaten deal double damage inside the Cow Frog. It is also possible to escape the Cow Frog's body if eaten.
