Dwarves or Dwarven Kind are a race of short, humanoid beings that were created by the Divine Aspect Thor after the Birth of Magic. They are known to be very hands-on in their work, and are known to be one of the more wealthier races.
Description
Dwarves are short, often bearded people that are usually quite muscular and often regarded as stoic and sturdy. Dwarves often vary in height, from being nearly as tall as Elves to being just above an Gnome in stature. What is notable for Dwarves that is not seen in the other races is that both genders of Dwarf can grow large beards without the need of outside magic. Their skin tone varies from dark browns to pale tones.
Dwarven Culture
Dwarves are known for their love of ale and their buildings made of stone, with foundations deep into the Earth. Within the Realm, the Dwarves are known for making very practical weapons and armor, such as the Dwarven Runeblade, Bronze Axe, Bronze Mace, and Plate Chain armor.
Among the other Races, Dwarves have good standing with the Elves, as they agreed to a treaty that prohibits the killing of the two races, called The Ironstone Accords, but this does not cover the Dwelf subrace that exists as a mingling between a Dwarf and a Elf. This leads to the Dwarven kind killing off many members of the Gandolin Family, a Dwelf family. Despite this aggression, they have been seen assisting Elves with their mining operations such as The Silverflats, which is used as a refueling station under the command of the Gandolin Elder Family.
Dwelves are not the only known Race that the Dwarves hate, as Kobolds and Dwarves are arguably the two races with the most division between them. As Kobolds are a race that eat rocks and gems that the Dwarves mine and sell for income, they regard each other with hostility.
Dwarven Society is run by a hierarchy and ruled by the 12 Dwarven Kings, to which the only known King was King Dundinborough, who was slain by the Ageless Bopen. Another unknown King was rumored to be killed by the infamous assassin Ghostblade as well.
Dwarven People
Dvergr
Dvergr Dvergr dwarves are those who still have some remnants of their rocky origins within them, and have skeletons made of stone. They can shift between their fleshy form and a pure stone form at will. In Dvergr Dvergr society it is shunned upon to cut any hair on your body, so their beards grow long and thick, and some Dvergr Dvergrs are mistaken for wild bears. Many Dvergr Dvergrs suffer from a speech impediment that causes them to repeat the final word in each sentence, but some have overcome this stutter and moved to live with other dwarves, abandoning their old lifestyle and cutting their hair, becoming 'Urb Dvergrs'. Due to their stone skeleton, Dvergr Dvergrs cannot be converted to Ageless.
Dwarf
Dwarves are of average height, and are the 'usual' dwarf. They live in stone cities, and drink their dwarven ale.
Birth of the Dwarves
Long ago after the Birth of Magic, the Divine Child of Dragon Aspect Ouro'ras, Thor molded the Dwarves in his likeness from the stone on the mountain sides, as he appeared as an Elf but was shorter with a beard. Thor enjoyed partying with his new race, but after a while the Dwarves got annoyed with Thor's constant rough-housing and devised a plan to dispose of Thor. The plan came to fruition and the Dwarves betrayed Thor, trapping him in a prison of stone.

Trivia
- One of the Elves' subraces, the Dwelf, can be considered a Dwarven subrace due to being half-Dwarf.
- However, considering that they are specifically categorized as a subrace of Elves, Dwelfs might have more Elven traits than Dwarven traits.
- It should be noted that Dwelfs are not well liked among Dwarves, and often face discrimination and abuse from Dwarves. Most Dwelfs appear to associate themselves more with Elves than with Dwarves.
