Ghostblade is a Beenu Assassin played by Rob in The Skeleton King. She is a mysterious, yet infamous, assassin, known for killing one of the 12 Original Dwarven Kings, as well as slaying the mortal brother of the Dragon Aspects. She is said to be the cursed child to Lyn Azveltara and Bei Mei X'hirt. She was last seen pacified in the Final Talon, while Maelstrom killed the Sandbolds that captured her.

Characteristics

Appearance

Ghostblade is a female Beenu who's hair and feathers have been plucked from her body nearly completely. Save for a few locks of hair at the front of her face, her head is completely bald. She has scar tissue riddingly her body, including a burned right eye. She wears a dark, long-sleeve shirt with a metal binder with a skull motif to keep her large breasts hidden from view. Over this, she wears a small jacket. On her face she wears a mask that hides her nose and entire mouth, showing only her teeth.

Personality

Ghostblade was a ruthless assassin for hire, with a calm persona when negotiating prices and kills. She is shown to be willing to kill high profile targets if the pay proved acceptable. However, once she drank from Luca's cursed food, she became pacified by having her persona turned into a bumbling idiot.

She was also known for killing people simply for touching her.

Relationships

Ghostblade is shown to be very reserved from the crew of Bopen, only talking with Clott and Bopen. She was fond of Bopen, as his history of massive killings and mythological status made her view him as an equal. With Clott, she referred to the Porc for missions due to him hiring her. After she was classified, Clott took advantage of her capabilities, causing her to wipe out a Kobold town they where sent to kill.

History

Ghostblade is said to have been born to Lyn Azveltara and Bei Mei X'hirt. Not much is known about her upbringing in the Azveltara family, other than she was trained as a master assassin and was disowned by Lyn due to her cursed nature as a Beenu.

At some point Ghostblade fled Ninjaru and became an independent assassin for hire, killing one of the Dragon Aspects' mortal siblings and one of the 12 Dwarven Kings.

The Skeleton King

Ghostblade was hired by Clott to join Bopen's Undead Army in the crime ridden town of Dundinborough. Ghostblade approached the crew due to the legendary kills of Bopen, and was eager to work with him. Ghostblade was quickly hired due to her impressive skills in assination and proficient killing. With Bopen even having Ghostblade kill mutinous crew in secret while the rest of the new recruits where being initiated by Cothlin the Behemoth. Ghostblade later drank from the cursed skull that Luca carried, pacifying her into a bumbling buffoon at was quickly taken advantage of.

The crew then went to kill a town of Kobolds, to test the mettle of the new crew. Clott then took advantage of Ghostblade's new weakness and ordered her to kill the entire town. However the killing was stopped by the Sandbolds who kidnapped Ghostblade and a few Kobold children who where left orphan by the assassin.

The Sandbolds

The Sandbolds took Ghostblade back to their base known as the Final Talon. There they began examining the assassin, where it was revealed that she was in fact a female Beenu, the last known surviving Beenu in the realms.

She was kept in the Final Talon for decades, still pacified as a half-wit.

Fate

Ghostblade was still in Final Talon when the now divine Maelstrom slaughtered the Sandbolds. It is unknown what is to become of her now.

Trivia

• Ghostblade was named after a Doom Clock event in Rob's Minecraft Minigame Dwarves Vs Zombies.
• Ghostblade was thought to be male until it was revealed in The Sandbolds that, along with her species as a Beenu, she was in fact female.
