Willis was a young boy when he was over taken by the mind controlling powers of Medusa. He took a leadership position in the Paladin Order and eliminated the elves from the order including Pattenborrow Threecircle. He did this because they couldn't be controlled by Medusa.
He was eventually released from the control of Medusa upon her death.
