Mermaids are aquatic humanoid creatures encountered during the Nuren Campaign.

History

Sir Spankey Themuncay took two Mermaids hostage in The Nuren Campaign, as the group wanted to pawn off their body parts for money.

Characteristics

Mermaids are have a large fish tail for a lower body and shells that act as breasts and gills for underwater breathing. If they exit the water for an extended period of time they will dry out and potentially die. Mermaids can also spit acid from their mouths, but cannot control the acidic saliva.

Abilities

These fair maidens of the pool act similar to Sirens of old. Drawing unsuspecting victims in with their beauty before revealing their true nature and pulling them under the water. They appear to be magical, however it is unknown to what extent they can control that magic.

Notable Examples

One was taken prisoner by Sir Spankey after being told by Jake that they are extremely valuable.

Trivia

• Apparently, different parts of Mermaids are worth lots of money.
• So far mermaids have only been seen in the Nuren Campaign. Meaning they are sadly non-canon until further notice.
