Woodcarvers is the 1st campaign of URealms Season 2, and it originally aired on May 28th, 2016. In this campaign, the small town of Waldon has been having some troubles with a fungus infection in the forest. The townsfolk are afraid that if the fungi get a hold of the forest, it could put them out of work, or worse, put their town in danger. A band of Lumberjacks known as The Woodcarvers are planning to head deep into the forest to deal with the outbreak before it puts the town at risk.

Summary

Our adventure begins in the Dwarven town of Waldon with a group of lumberjacks. We meet Michael Langstrom their leader with his drunk son Taylor and their elephelk companion, who places an Antimagic coller around his son to keep him from trouble. Vitali Zankovich begins his morning with his wife Wanda's pet hat rats exsplouding, protecting his cowpoke grandson Mikael Zankovich. Jomr is being taken advantage of by his greedy 'son' and his cheating wife Sheila as normal. Lastly, Heathera Stonemason is confronting her mother Alessa, terrified by her dreams of Doomed while asking about her father as well as wishing to be ranger like her mother. As they all leave their homes, Rupert gives them the task of destroying a Mushroom Trent that has been taking over a forest, closing of the lumber mill. Michael Langstrom brings his son, Taylor Langstrom, to work because his babysitter is sick. The group reaches the town gate where they find a guard named Rupert. Rupert lets them know that the lumber mill is closed and will not be opened until the fungus is taken care of. He says that the fungus is down by the wood bridge, and it was so strong that he almost died. In an attempt to show Taylor a magic trick, Vitali Zankovich casts Mind Burn on Rupert, tearing off his arm. Rupert then goes off to visit Jormr's wife Sheila, to get his arm "healed up". When Vitali isn't paying attention, Taylor takes his Love Potion thinking it's a drink. Jormr's Stepson is forced to join the group and travels with them into the forest. Vitali once again pulls a spell out of his beard and casts Soul Steal on Jormr, but does no damage and looks terrifyingly awesome. On the other side of the gate, Alessa Stonemason sees her daughter, Heathera Stonemason, talking to Vitali's grandson, Mikael Zankovich. To show her mom that she can be independent, Heathera casts a very impressive Arcane Beam. Michael is so impressed that Heathera is inducted into their lumberjack business, and allowed to come on their adventure.

Almost as soon as the group leave the town they see two lacerator. Alessa does some scouting to confirm, she reports back that there are two lacerators and the possibility of a third as she's doing this Taylor runs rampant behind vitali they decide to kill the lacerators to make the trip easier,

(COMBAT log: Alessa starts the combat by trying to launch a fire arrow at one of the lacerator using augment but launches an earth arrow by mistake. Vitali casts rolling fog from his beard across the front of the two lacerators, Jormr slides up on his blood cobra and summons eight Blood Snake from the forest to assist in battle, Alessa then uses volley on one of the lacerator sending a volley of arrows in the air coming down on the lacerator which fully alerts the lacerator to the lumberjacks, Micheal uses his Tome of Slime Walls to put a wall of slime in front of the other lacerator, as he does this a Momma Lacerator burst from the ground behind the group and grabs Jormr's stepson, Jormr's blood snakes swarm around a lacerator and try to attack but end up just attacking each other killing three of them. Vitali then tries to cast Hocus Pocus but accidentally casts polymorph on himself turning himself into a different looking dwarf. (skip combat)

after a barttle involving a wasted polymorph, conversting 1 lasherator, dealing with pitfalls and the lacatator mother, eventually, they win. They come across Rafaam, who for befriending a lasher, they are spared his wrath and after debate, Alessa receives his blessing, as well as some vestments, as well as his warning, and a way to call him if they need him: saying "moist forest".

Upon resting a tad and arriving in a clearing, they notice a Low Bear nearby off eating some berries, and knowing the danger, they plan on just sneaking past, even though Alessa notices a Tambok Ticket show up near it, ignoring it. On calling Rafeel for his advice, rafell admits he's lonly, so they give him the lasher they coverted. While Micheal deals with his son, who's under the love potion, another highbear shows up and begins fighting the Low Bear. As they try to sneak past, Jomr attracts their attention, and the High Bear ask for their assistance, calling the Low Bear a criminal as the Low Bear sneaks away and armors up. Deciding to help the high bear, the team swarms the low bear. During the fight, Alessa finds the Low Bear's assistances, beats them and ties them up, then on rejoining the battle as the Low Bear faces off against the others, she ends up thinking she killed Heathera with her bow, so she snaps it. When the Low Bear gets weak, and the other High Bear flees, the Low Bear convinces Jomr and the others to stand down. The fight ends, and Alessa is relived to find her daughter is ok, and upon taking her daoughters normal bow, she approves approving of Heathera becoming a Magician. Jomr's son tries to steal Vatali's ticket after borrowing money from Jomr, only on being declined, to lie to Jomr about Vatali being the boyfriend of Sheila, although its ignored. The Low Bear Ursa Faden ends up sharing gifts with the lumberjacks, including Micheal receiving a magic shovel and Jomr's son taking a cursed Bloody Bulwark, while Alessa gives him a Berry Bush.

They arrive at the lake, to find the bridge has been destroyed. Vitali is asked to polymorph the elepelk, only to Conjure Fortune, causing him to gain Flexable Arms. as they try and cross the river, they discover the rocks are Catapult Turtles, and notice a mysteriose shiney rock. as they debate how to cross the River, _ comes out, offering to help them cross. curiose about the rock, they call rafeel, but he just runs the moment he sees it.Suddenly, the rock exspoads because Mikael touchs it, hurting him and his grandfather, as well as they awaken a Whisper Snake. they then have to cross the frozen lake, dealing with the Whisper Snake, who begins a chain of whispers on Vitali, who then Encores it to turn even more people, and even Alessa is forced to try and shot her own daughter. Everyone but Jomr's son makes it across, the snake whispering to him as the rest escape. On recovering, Heathera seems to have wanted a break from Mikeal after he whispered some dark Abracadab that Vitali had said to him on being mindcontroled. Rafel admits he knew what the Frost Stone was, and admited he was Doomed as well, and Heathra showed interest in him. After showing off a good Invisability, Heathera finnally convinces her mom to reveal her past: about her father, and her twin brother. As Phenelope tells them a bit about the shroom, Jomr reveals a bit of his past as well. Rafeel tries to talk to the shroom, but is unable to reason with it, so the Lumberjacks and Rafeel engage the Giant Shroom. the Mushroom absorb some spells, and keeps spliting, and as they lose both Rafeel and Tylor, and even though they get some backup in Penelope and a Dwarf from the town, they seem to be losing when one of the mushrooms begins to regrow...

Until suddenly, the dragon of death flies by, killing the shroom, but also destroying their hometown. In the shock, they notice the Ageless corpse of Tylor wandering toward them. Resisting his breath, Michael pushs his boy back and walls him inside a Glacial Prison. Penolope flees, warning them about not breathing in their smoke. Michael notices the little Dwarf that Vitali had teleported in, grabbing him and bringing him on his elephelk back to the Low Bear, having given up on the group and heading on his own path. Vitali books it into town, passing a buffalo-hatted Ageless, only to find his Wife also an ageless. Resisting her breath, he books it back to the others. As he returns, out of the forest comes Gweneth Sunsword and Kalark, who are following the dragon and helping those left in his wake. They offer to help the remaining Lumberjacks with clearing out their old home, setting the ageless townfolk's souls free. Kalak bounds a bit with Jomr on hearing about his non-racial son.

So the remaining people (minus Mikeal) all proceed to do battle with the ageless ones. Jomr loses his snake to Ageless Sheila, but frees her as well as Rupert's souls. Vitali helps his wife's soul free, and even uses Disguise to reinviguate himself in battle. even though she looses his composure for a bit, with Heatheras help, even Alessa is able to take out a few of them, including the Ageless Rafeel. As they finish them, they notice Mikeal is about to get killed by the last Ageless Tylor, but Mikeal is able to end the unlife of his friend. The remaining party agreee to follow Gweneth and Kalak, with Heathera flirting with her new teacher Vitali, having being given approval to be his student by Alessa

Trivia

• Woodcarvers was the first campaign to be featured on the Urealms.com website.
• All of the Supporter Events in the Woodcarvers campaign were activated. This is the third campaign to have all of its Supporter Events activated; the first campaign was Roamin's Band of Thieves, and the second campaign was The Zarlin Catacombs.
• Although Deadbone's Tambok Ticket was destroyed from a Critical Failure, Rob decided to retcon that and allowed Deadbones the ability to add a character to Tambok's Special Friend Show. He chose Cain from The New Crew to be in the show.
