Willis was a young boy when he was over taken by the mind controlling powers of Medusa. He took a leadership position in the Paladin Order and eliminated the elves from the order including Pattenborrow Threecircle. He eliminated the elves because they are one of the races that cannot be controlled by Medusa.
He was eventually released from the control of Medusa upon her death which was caused by Pattenborrow Threecircle's adopted sons and daughters.
