Supporter Events

Although URealms Live is about fun and role play, it needs to make money to stay afloat. The way this is done is by making supporter events that the twitch chat can donate money to activate. Originally, in The Nuren Campaign there were no supporter events, but that was before UR Live became a weekly event. When supporter events first came in, in Band of Thieves there were only events that aided the enemy, but the community wanted to be able to help the heroes as well, so in Porc Hunters Rob added events that aid the heroes.

Almost every combat has three supporter events (the Cobra King combat only had two), some of which aid the heroes and others that aid the enemy. Chat can see the effect that each supporter event will have on the game, but the heroes can't even see that there are any supporter events. As of Porc Hunters, after each combat, along with the one treasure from the party leader's bonus, chat can activate supporter events to get the heroes up to three more treasures. These treasures can be converted into two Rejuvenation Potions, two Regrowth Potions, a single Quickness Elixir or taken as is. All of these treasures/potions are distributed among the party by the party leader however they wish. For Sunswords Rob removed post combat treasure events and replaced them with a phase where the players buy treasures with gold not unlike in character creation. He also made supporter events that occur during combat that negatively affect the party give the heroes more gold. Next there were supporter events that activate a combat, such as the Gemlord combat in Band of Thieves.

In season one almost all supporter events, aside from treasure giving supporter events, have a short animation animated by Nick Graves which plays upon activation. In season two Sixelona took up the role of doing the animation for supporter events in place of Graves.

In The Many Gobos of Pat Rob added role play supporter events that did not occur during a combat and merely attacked to change and encourage role play.

The URealms Side Quest campaigns are not done live and such do not have supporter events. They are the only campaigns to not have supporter events and will not be included on this page.

In the first campaign of season two Rob added 'Card Quests' which are active during every combat. Phineas (at a meta level) leaches from the overflow to complete three 'quests' which each unlock special cards. Whilst Phineas is able to leach from the overflow he will walk, but when unable to he will stand still. Upon completing a 'quest' Phineas will exclaim "Yeah!" and when we completes the final 'quests' he starts dancing. When the first 'quest' is reached lore card(s) are put up in the bottom right corner of the stream (in rotation if there are multiple) for viewers to read. The second 'quest' adds the abilities of the monsters in the combat to the rotation in the bottom right corner. If either of these 'quests' are completed the respective cards from the completed 'quest' are added to the URealms website (live.urealms.com/cards). The third and final 'quest' is slightly different. If this 'quest' is completed each player gets one legendary roll. If any player is successful with their legendary roll the respective legendary item they are given will be added to the URealms website.

*Note: after the Chimera combat, instead of having post combat treasure supporter events, Rob decided Dave would show the heroes 5 treasures from a bag he was carrying and give them 4 of those treasures.[1]

**Note: the supporter events during the Porbo combat were not showing progress bars correctly and the chat couldn't see the effect of the supporter events, so Rob removed the donations from them and activated them throughout the combat when he felt the heroes were winning.[2][3]

The Temple of the Dingo Isles	Entrance Trap		Causes the two statues at the entrance to come alive, moving one space each round towards the heroes. When the heroes try to leave the statues move back to block the enterance.	YouTube
Grill Pits	Grill Pits On*		Causes the grills to shoot up fire. The fire moves from the top row of the room to the bottom at a rate of one row per round. You cannot run through the fire, you must stop at each individual fire space. If you end your turn on a fire space you take 5 damage.	YouTube

	Cute or Bruce?		A basket of pot puppies fall from the ceiling along with 12 aggressive skeletons that surround the pot puppies, but will not kill them, as they are trying to protect them. If killed the skeletons will use their full turn to revive themselves. This however can only be done a certain amount of times as all the skeletons share the same stamina pool and once that reaches zero they can no longer revive. Kobold Arena Fight	Triple Wield		Kobolds can now attack three times per round each by using a sword in their mouth. Accidents are a lot more common. This becomes cannon that Kobolds can be trained to fight with three swords.	YouTube

The Unseen Rogues

	Vampire Locket		Deadbones transforms into Romulus for three turns, using his abilities during that time. Due to the Dwarven racial ability, the Vampire Locket is passed down to the next campaign. The Scrooge	Magic Breath		All future Scrooges will officially use the chosen spell card in the future.	All Scrooge Ducks gain the ability to cast a magic spell from their mouth. The spell will be chosen at random and this will become the canon ability of all future Scrooge Ducks.	none	YouTube

	Hidden Passage		The "world background" in Tabletop Simulator included the second map, which showed where the passage opened from. The player with the lowest roll in this area obtained the "cursed" treasure.	A secret passage opens up in the back revealing gold and treasure. Each player will find 1000 gold and a random treasure item, however one of the treasure items will be cursed to mind control the player later in the game.	1000g	YouTube
The Strange Strange Catacombs	Fruit for Sale		The Bearserker sells rotten fruit, which can disable the defenses of the Beenu mechanical beings.	A Bearserker setups his stall with many different fruits to sell the adventurers. Strange that he would set up shop in a Catacombs, but then again not everyone is a master of market research.	none	YouTube
	Little Gemmy		The Gemling goes to the highest roller, and can communicate with that character. There is also a Gemling Puppet Pal, but it was not set up for this campaign.	A small scared little Gemling is found. Which ever play is nice to it, the Gemling will follow and aid in battle providing a different effect for each player. Inside the Gemling is a Tambok Special Friend show ticket if it is destroyed by the party or foes.	none	YouTube
	Beep Boop		The Elemech starts chasing the bearserker, and the party can intervene to fight it. While this was activated, the Elemech race was incomplete, and the campaign was pushed to a later date.	A sentient Elemech with a will of it's own attacks the party. If defeated, the adventures will be able to communicate with him for valuable information about the Zarlin Catacombs. And Then Everything Changed	Transverse Red		All Ability cards were placed into a separate deck, and is drawn when a character uses any Ability. Despite the description, the Red Elemech can change ANY Ability used, including Mind Fist.	One of the Elemechs turns red and activates it's hidden abilities. 	Transverse Blue		All Treasure cards were placed into a separate deck, and is drawn when a character uses any of his Treasures. Despite the Description, ALL Treasure cards were changed.	One of the Elemechs turns blue and activates it's hidden abilities. 	Transverse Green		Race cards were placed into a stack alongside custom "Gender" cards. If either of the cards are the same as the inflicted, the character does not change. Trapped, With Multiple Non-Obvious Ways Through	Gorgons		Gorgons were technically hostile, and the player with the lowest roll on the Hidden Passage event was "changed" to become the Gorgon King, regardless of race.	A troop of Gorgons attacks the party. if a player is carrying cursed treasure, it will be activated and they will become King of the Gorgons. Order of these events is important chat! 	Secret Tunnel		Water flows from the ceiling, and starts filling the room. If activated before Glamorous, Glamorous will start as hostile when summoned.	A secret tunnel filled with water opens up. 	Glamorous		Glamorous was supposed to be a regular, albeit Stamina buffed, Glamorshark. However, the lack of water and a slip from Rob caused him to become a Divine Being, and change his size based on the amount of water. If activated before Secret Tunnel, Glamorous flops around on the ground, unable to move or breathe.	Glamorous the mighty Glamshark appears, and boy is he hunger. The Mighty Beenu War-Machine	Tambok Ticket		The Ticket is given to the Campaign Leader at the end of the campaign, should he survive.	Encounter Reward: A ticket to Tamboks special friend show. 	Purification Stone	File:Purification Stone Icon.png	During one of the breaks, the players choose who obtains this item. Deadbones was supposed to obtain this, but his character died while taunting the final boss. Justin receives the stone after deciding on camera. 	Afterparty		The players take a little break, then play a multiplayer game of their choice while talking to the audience. The New Crew

	Lacey Mother		A Momma Lacerator erupts out of the ground. Momma Lacerators are able to make Baby Lacerators that love to eat children. If the players manage to defeat the Lacey Mother they will be given an additional Legendary Roll at the end of combat.	500g
	Followers of Rokesh		At the end of combat, some Druids of the Forest will appear to commune with the Allies and warn them of the dangers to come and how to respect the forest. If they find the Allies worthy, they will bestow a Blessing. If they are insulted, they will inflict a Curse.	0g
The Low Bear	Stump Ticket		Place a Tambok Ticket on the stump near the Low Bear. Will the Players be willing to attempt to steal or fight for this ticket? Tambok Tickets unlock a special live campaign after the players successfully collect 20 (they currently have 5).	0g
	Bear Fight		Another Bear appears and challenges the Lowbear to a fight. This could grant the players a distraction to sneak past them, a potential Ally to fight fight the Lowbear with, or could end up with players fighting two Bears (which would be really, really, bad).	0g
	Highborn		A Low Bear is a bear that has been cast out from the High Bear society for breaking their sacred laws. Instead of a Low Bear for this encounter, it will be replaced with a Highborn which dramatically changes the dynamic of this encounter. Keep in mind that Highborn are generally unkillable and the players will need to think outside the box or use diplomacy to stand a chance against it.	500g
Broken Bridge	Frost Stone		The stone in the direct center of the lake freezes over and begins to sparkle. The first Character to touch this stone will cause it to explode dealing damage to all Targets on the Battlefield and freeze over the lake, transforming it into Difficult Terrain. Dwarf Children are very attracted to things that sparkle.	200g
	Penelope Saysong		An Elf who lives in the forest named Penelope Saysong comes to the aid of the Allies when they are in trouble or at the end of combat. She is a powerful Bard with great knowledge of the problems facing the forest and a master tamer of Catapult Turtles.	0g

Scar of the Realm	Sunset Swords		Gwyneth and Kallark show up somewhat wounded from the Silvermine Mountains campaign. Although wounded, Kallark still has one hand to fight with and Gwyneth has knowledge of what has happened to the Town Folk, and a way to cure them.	0g

The Science of Magic	Best in Show		After learning about the Science of Magic and where it all comes from, the Class be will be putting on a special Show and Tell contest where they use their Magic in a creative way to dazzle and impress the Professors of Okagnoma. 	The First Sin		The first time a Player Character dies from a Death Roll, this event will be triggered and prevent the Death. Wait a second... you shouldn't be able to donate for this. You're ruining my story! This is cheating! You shouldn't be messing with the fate of characters like this no matter how much you like them! Don't donate for this! If this Donation Event is triggered after being funded, it will cause a Sin of the Unforgotten. After the 5th Sin of the Unforgotten, a FATE WORSE THAN DEATH will fall upon the next Player Character to fail a Death Roll.	0g

The 13th Ambush	Mammaphelk Mad		The giant Elaphelk that pulls the Carriage joins the Battle. She is loves to eat Goblins and Porcs and will attempt to eat them every round of combat until she is defeated or subdued.	500g
	Jessabelle Marie		A wealthy and posh gnome named Jessabelle Marie is also riding on the Carriage. She has 3 random Treasure Items, 2000 Gold, and a Tambok Ticket in her possessions that could be traded for or even stolen. Each of the players will also roll to see which of them afflicted by Love Struck, an attribute card that forces them to protect her.	0g

	Rolling Doubles		All Players are given a "Get Out of Jail Free Card" as a Treasure Item that allows them to avoid a Death Roll. For the rest of the campaign, Anytime a Kobold Player rolls a Double, they may grant themselves or an Ally a "Get out of Jail Free card" treasure card as long as they don't already have one.	0g
Choo Choo	THE TRAIN IS ALIVE!		Uh Oh! That E.X.X.X.P. Ale is kicking in again! The train comes to life and hinders the Players Ability to slow her down. This is a dangerous event that lasts 3 rounds of combat before the effects of E.X.X.X.P. finally wear off once and for all.	0g
	Dob the Bard		A bard named Dob is aboard the runaway train playing his Lute. For the rest of this combat encounter (or until Rob gets sick of it so like 10 mins tops), Dob will play his Banjo providing the perfect ambience for a Western Train encounter.	0g
	Derailed		The train flies off the tracks at the end of combat and crashes causing all Characters on it to roll for their lives. This donation event leads to a follow-up campaign for the 7th Show this season that takes place Immediately after the events of this one. This means that Nisovin will return for the 7th Campaign for the follow up western campaign.	0g
The End of the Quest	Treasure Trunk		After combat, an additional Treasure Chest will be found by the Players. It contains a special item for the player who opens it. If the Painful Twist has been unlocked, this chest will also contain a special Lore Card for the Stream.	0g

	Optical Illusions		One of the players enters another wrong pipe and instead of just coming right back out by themselves, they come out with two identical illusions of themselves. Bonus Encounter	Coober's Magical Quiz		Hidden somewhere in the tower is Coober's Magical Quiz Floor. Coober is a gnome Wizard who got lost in the Tower of Ultimate Wizardry years ago and now lives there running a game show on a floor of the tower. Tambok Tickets? Legendaries? Death Rolls? All this and more can be found at Coober's Magical Quiz Floor! This donation adds an extra floor the guys will have to get through to get to the end of the campaign.	0g

Porcs?!?	More Porcs?!?		Another 6 Porcs return back to camp flanking the party. If the Porcs join the party, a single random Attribute drawn for all the Porcs. This can have a VERY dramatic effect on this campaign. Ghost Stories	Best Camp Story		As a reward for telling the best Ghost Story, one the NPC characters will give a Player a Tambok Ticket! Tambok Tickets allow the Players at the end of a Season to submit a character to Tambok's Special Friend Show. Once 20 Characters have been collected, a very unique Campaign will be added to the next Season. Den of Devils	A Choice of Death		You are the gods of of this realm. Only you can decide whether this show lives or dies as it is your blood and gold that allow it to come this far. From the ceiling falls a Sword forged from the fires of Hell itself. This Sword alone is not enough to slay a Dragon, and this is just a whelpling which is basically just a baby Dragon! No, this Swords value is not in its strength or power, but it's story. If you donate to this event, even a little bit, you will be dooming many of the beloved characters created on this show over the last two years, but in return you will get to watch them venture into the pits of hell itself. So what do you value more? The life of fictional characters, or their story? Death is the only Ending. Choose it wisely. This donation event leads to a follow-up campaign for the 9th show this Season that takes place shortly after the events of this campaign as the survivors, the Grand Paladin Order, the Guild of Explorers, and a whole bunch of mercenaries we have created and met from all the shows will venture deeper into this cave. 	Laser Vharks		Vharks gain the Energy Beam Ability that lets them shoot power short blasts of Arcane Magic all over the Battlefield. 	Vharknado		The Vharks regroup and unleash a DEVASTATING attack on the party by swirling together to form a Vharknado which will leave the party critically wounded. For defeating the Vharks, the Players will also be granted an additional Legendary Roll. Bubs and Tubs	Tip the Scales		Galen Sunsword, after seeing these adventurers in battle, invites the Party to join him after this hunt and travel to the Sunsword kingdom in a campaign next season. He will also bless the group with ancient magic spell called the Blessing of the Sunsword, which grants Players the ability to count 19s as a Critical Success for the remainder of the campaign. This effect applies to whatever Character that Player is playing as. The campaign in question will happen regardless if this event triggers as it pertains to overall Sunsword story. This event just offers the chance that the Party may be able to join Galen on his venture home, that is assuming they are able to catch survive this campaign...	Blessing of the Sunsword

Abandoned Mine	Dynamite Sticks		The Players are each given a special item card called Dynamite Stick that can be used to open up different areas of the mine or saved to cause massive damage in combat. There are more blocked pathways then the Players will have sticks of dynamite, so they will have to choose carefully how they decide to use them. 	Crazed Miners		The Adventurers discover a group of crazy Dwarven miners. They are wearing almost no clothing and their beards are wild and untamed. They have lost their minds in these mines and mine you they should not be trusted. While initially they will help the Players navigate the mine and can provide clues to where different mineshafts will take them, once they reach the Murder Bros there is no telling who they will fight for. 3 Powerful Dwarven Miners will follow the Party into the final Encounter and will fight for the side the Gods wish them to fight for, changing sides as the gods bicker amongst themselves for control.	0g

The Fall of Dundinborough

Bedtime Stories	Gifts from a Prince		To thank each of the Guards for their service to the Kingdom, the Prince gives them each a gift. Each Player is given a Legendary Roll, but if they fail this roll they will be given a very awkward and useless Roleplay Item. They will have to keep this item or else it may upset the Prince. If any Player who loses, gives, or throws away this item will be Marked for Death for the rest of the Campaign. Players who are Marked of Death will suffer from the wrath of the Gamemaster. In Combat, the Gamemaster will not hold back against this Player and will attempt to cause as many Death Rolls against them when given a good opportunity to do so.	0g
	Bopen's Tale		Queen Karolime Dundinborough arrives after each of the Players has read their stories to the Prince and read his favorite book called "Bopen the Skeleton King" a fictional story about a Skeleton Pirate who plunders Dwarves all over the realm.	0g
The Tournament	Champion's Purse		For winning the Tournament, the Players will each receive 1000 gold, a Legendary Roll, and three Random Treasure Items. 	The Donkey Tradition		As is tradition in Tournament's all around the Realm, the crowd throws a Donkey at a Character. All Characters must roll and the Character who rolls the lowest will be hit by the Donkey and take 99 Damage. If this Target is already defeated, they will be forced to Death Roll unless this would cause a Paradox in which case the Donkey will be thrown at the second lowest roll and so on. If there is a Tie, multiple Donkeys will be thrown. If multiple Players roll a four, then all players will get hit by a Donkey regardless if other Characters did or did not roll a four. If the Donkey kills a Character, another Donkey shall be thrown. If two or more Donkey's are thrown, chat may spam >>>BONUSROUND<<< to begin a bonus round of Donkey's in which case please refer to the official Donkey Tradition handbook for how to proceed. If this event does not trigger, the Donkey in who would be thrown shall be taken out back at the end of this campaign and shot unless said Donkey was born on a Tuesday or Thursday in which case it shall be drowned. For any other Donkey Tradition related inquiries please contact your local elven head state representative.
Golden Golem	Ruby Sword		The Golem manipulates all the Gold and Treasure around him to form a giant Ruby Sword. The Golem will now start attacking the Players. The Golem is a Passive entity and can be easily defeated by the Players without this Event.
	Say That Again?		The Golem is now able to speak. Once per round it will say something very cryptic and confusing as well as granting him a very powerful and punishing Ability.
	Sundrunks		The Sunswords stumble into the vault completely wasted on E.X.X.X.P. Ale. They are here to help in combat, but are they really going to be much help in their current state. The answer is no. If all Donation Events are triggered, Each Player will be given Two Legendary Rolls.
Defend the Shrine	OLD MAN WILLAKERS		The Lightbeard clan and their leader, Lance Willakers, answer the call to come to the aid of the Dundinborough clan. This event creates an alternate ending to this campaign which is not mandatory to the story as we have worked hard to create two really fun endings. If the Party is defeated (not necessarily killed) before this event can be triggered, the Lightbeard Clan will not be able to arrive in time. You should consider this event to be very optional and only support it if you would like to introduce the Lightbeard clan.

Trivia

• The first ever supporter event activated was the Whirlwind Bros supporter event.
• The first event that benefited the heroes was the Winter Coat supporter event which gave Elmar a Winter Coat of Protection.
• The Donkey for Dankey supporter event, when activated, caused the first ever player death in URealms Live.
• There were no card quests in The Tower of Ultimate Wizardry: Chapter One
• So far, 8 Campaigns have had all of their Supporter Events Funded.
  • Every campaign in Season 2, excluding The Tower of Ultimate Wizardry: Chapter One, has had all of their Supporter Events funded.
• The Buckaroos Campaign was the campaign with the most donated money in the Overflow, with the final encounter causing it to hit $4,292 total.
  • This was caused by how it was a fight by chat on which side they wanted to win, where there were no money caps and how each side only grew smaller by how much they had compared to the other.
