Background
Duke Daring knew Jameson Bland as they were both members of the Guild of Explorers. Duke Daring however, despises Jameson because of an incident involving a fellow guild member disguised as Jameson spitting in Daring's face, when Daring asked for salt to whom he thought was Jameson.
Fate
Jameson accidentally fell on Daring, while holding the rug during an encounter between the two groups. The rug that fell on Daring then proceeded to consume Daring as the rug folded back up. His fate, unless it is explored in the rest of the sidequest, is unknown.
