The Unforgotten Realms is the world in which Unforgotten Realms Live takes place. All locations are located here, as well as all the people and creatures. The Sea in Unforgotten Realms is called The Drink. There are many different languages spoken in the Unforgotten Realms.
Economy
The common currency in Unforgotten Realms is Gold. It was revealed in the Nuren Campaign that 300 Gold is the equivalent of roughly 200 US Dollars[1], meaning the exchange rate would be 1.5. In other words, 1 Gold coin would be equal to $0.67 USD. In the real world, this would only amount to six ten-thousandths of an ounce of gold, meaning that gold is either considerably less valuable and considerably more common in the Unforgotten Realms, or that there isn't much actual gold in Gold coins.
Jewels, gems and assorted treasures are often used as monetary wealth, but it is currently unknown how they are represented in the overarching currency.
