History
They first appeared during The Nuren Campaign.
Skeletons first appeared during the second act of The Nuren Campaign. Residing in Bopen's Lair, they served the purpose of blocking their master's lair off from trespassers. The Dwarven Siblings, under the command of Kormac, entered the cave and were immediately met with hostile encounters from the undead beings.
In the Campaign The Jewel of the Dingo Isles, the crew of the Bocoe discover that the Dingo Isles is inhabited solely by skeletons. These skeletons guard the jewel and appear to be ruled over by an unnamed skeleton lord. These skeletons spend their days standing around not doing much. However they did have three Pot Puppies that they share amoungst them. When the crew make an effort to steal the jewel they became aggressive. In the end they eventually steal the jewel and the pot puppies.
In the campaign The New Crew, Rick Snot introduces his shipmates to his favorite game. Unforgotten Realms. He, Cain, Marco, Polo, Young Ladyir, and Maelstrom begin a campaign where they are all elves fighting skeletons. However when Cain realizes that you cannot eat skeletons he becomes terrified. Rick, in an effort to keep him playing changes it so they are a boat full of skeletons fighting an island full of Elves.
In the Silvermine Mountains campaign it is revealed that the truly devoted members of The Cult of Bones undergo a gruesome transformation to become skeletons themselves. Making them effectively immortal. They can pass back and forth from their original form and melt off their skin to reveal their cursed selves.
Characteristics
Skeletons lack most, if not all, organs and compensate their lack of senses with unorthodox methods, e.g. sight using some sort of magical sonar and communication by chattering jaws.Their bodies is hold together with a magic substance that gives off a blue faint light. Skeletons seem to love Pot Puppies.
