Catapult Turtles are a race of turtle-like creatures with very powerful legs that they can use to launch projectiles from their backs.

Characteristics

Catapult Turtles are very passive creatures that live in shallow waters. They breathe through their shells which is why they will often sit in the water with their shell sticking out. Catapult Turtles have very powerful legs that they use to leap in and out of the water with, but will also defend themselves with by launching predators off their vulnerable backs.

Woodcarvers

Catapult Turtles where first seen living in Waldon Lake, where they appeared to be rocks until they catapulted the group off of their backs. Penelope Saysong, an elf who lived near Waldon Lake, seemed very knowledgeable on Catapult Turtles, and owned a few as pets. She killed a turtle in the lake to demonstrate that they are very weak.
