Sandbolds are an ancient species that were created by the Sun Dragon God Phanto after the Hatching, and have existed since before the Birth of Magic. They served as the watchers of The Realms under Phanto, until his death.

Description

Sandbolds are very similar in appearance to regular Kobolds, yet their fur is a pale, sandy colour, and has a texture of sandstone. They were created long before sapient Kobolds, and have unique powers of truesight, and immunity and detection of time magics.

History

Sandbolds were created by Sun Dragon God Phanto to serve as his eyes into the Realms, and to be monitors of time, reporting their findings back to Phanto. After Phanto's death during the Birth of Magic, Sandbolds were left without a master, and so they began to die out with no way to reproduce. To continue their legacy, they began to recruit more races into their order, but mainly their descendants the Kobolds. Some Sandbolds turned to new masters, the Old Gods, after Phanto's death.
