As [[Templeton Barringster VII|Templeton]] is occupied with his brother, he gathers the rest of the crew, which can't be bothered to help without the pay raise from Captain [[Ca-Rell]]. They flee towards a forest that had been previously burnt to the ground by [[Elmar]], who claim that he was "cold", where they meat the fire spirit at the heart of said burning. The party is greatly challenged by the spirit due to them flat out murdering the [[Elf|elves]] sent to assist them. During the fight [[Elmar]], who receives his chill jacket, and [[Ca-Rell]], who gallantly leads the group, head up the combat doing the majority of the work. While [[Denada]] spends time relaxing in a tent and sending [Earthlor|Earth Elementals] to get snacks.
