History

Background

The town of Waldon was a peaceful trade hub for lumberjacks, attracting Dwarves, Elves and Gnomes. The Dwarves had inhabited the town for at least 200 years before the events of the Woodcarvers.

The Woodcarvers group sets out from Waldon to tackle the fungus problem, but as they face the Shroom Trent itself, Golestandt flies overhead, and breathes death down below, destroying the town of Waldon, burning many of the buildings to the ground, and converting its inhabitants to mindless Ageless.

Trivia

  • The name Waldon may be a play on the phrase "Walled in".
    • This is fitting as Michael Langstrom had many tools to create walls.
