Sun Hounds were first introduced in Band of Thieves.

History

Not much is known about Sun Hounds. Up to this point none have been found in the wild. Meaning that either they are quite rare, Fenrus is the only one of his kind, or that they have been domesticated by the Elves.

Characteristics

Sun Hounds appear to be extraordinary large, white wolves under the command of the Sunblades. They are extremely playful, opting to play with their prey by flinging them across the room and chasing after them. Effectively playing fetch with themselves.

Sun Hounds also have the ability to create explosive constructs of solar energy. These Sun Tiles, as they are called, will sap the life-force energy of anyone standing on them to the point of collapse. The Sun Tiles can erupt in an explosion if they are met in contact with the Elven Sun Bolts.
