Monkfish Grotto is a mountain range that houses the Monkey Fish King, his offspring and a fabled red gem that he was worried about the Band of Thieves stealing.. It's waters are deep and have underground rivers that link the Grotto to a neighboring town by a well. The Band of Thieves meet the Monkey Fish King here and, with his aid, hide from Gwyneth Sunsword and her Spellblades. After an encounter with Gwyneth Sunsword in the town, K-4 and Gracias use the town well to escape back to the Grotto. It is confirmed that K-4 currently lives in the grotto with the great monkey fish, but the whereabouts of Gracias are unknown.
