NPCs or Non Player Characters are characters that are controlled by the Game Master.
Mobs
Mobs are creatures within Unforgotten Realms Live generally aligned against the goals of the campaigning party, or else an obstruction or hindrance to the party's aims. Though some can be reasoned with, combat is the most common result of an encounter.
