Whisper Snakes are often small critters that can cause a lot of damage by warping the minds of others, causing them to go mad temporarily in a blind rage. It is said whisper snakes grow as big as their environment allows them to be, and some claim that they have seen whisper snakes the size of trees.

History

Porc Hunters

A Whisper Snake nicknamed The Whisper Snake of Emerald Lake attacked the party while they crossed a bridge over Emerald Lake. This Whisper Snake was defeated by Ca-Rell using her "Flare Fist" attack.

Woodcarvers

The Whisper Snake of Waldon Lake attacked the party trying to cross Waldon Lake after the lake was frozen over from a Frost Stone. The snake caused a chain of mind controlling after Dark Whispering Vitali Zankovich, who used Copycat to copy the Dark Whisper onto other members of the party. The Whisper Snake eventually swam off, where it ate Jormr's Stepson, who had been avoiding combat.

Trivia

• There was a chance for one of the Meta Ytts in The Sunswords to shapeshift into a whisper snake, although it didn't actually happen.
