- I think the new cards are connected like this. Some cards don't really mention any race connection though, hard to tell where they belong. Skydivizer (talk) 14:00, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- I think we should only post things that are confirmed to appear in game the following week. Because who knows how much will change, ya know? --IronClark (talk) 14:14, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Good point. I'll just leave it in here. Skydivizer (talk) 14:21, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Noble Born was used as an Elf Class in the Porc Hunters Campaign--5ilver42 (talk) 13:44, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
Cards
How should we place the cards here? The way the are on the Cards page now, in the green table? Or does anyone else have a different style for them?--Razorhead (talk) 18:45, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- We should probably use a template similar to Template:Class Card Sheet. Makes changing the style and layout later easier. Skydivizer (talk) 18:49, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- But how would we do it? A template for Races and another for subraces? Or One template that has the main race first, followed by the subraces? I personally prefer the latter, but the former might be easier to sort. Although this page is an overview page, and the eventual list on the Cards page is going to be easier for sorting anyway, so... --Razorhead (talk) 07:43, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- I don't exactly understand what you mean. Do you want to have races and subraces in the same table? What would the headers be? If you can create an example with a race and a sub-race in it I'll try to make a template out of it. Skydivizer (talk) 07:51, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- I create a template based on your class one to indicate what I mean. The first row would be the Main Race, the rows beneath those the subraces. I think it works, but the only thing I would change would be to color the first row differently, to indicate that it is the main race. Of course this is but a proposal, if you've got something else, feel free to share. --Razorhead (talk) 08:09, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- That would work. The color for following rows can be changed. You would have a different table for each race right? I'll put in the style in the template because I don't think we can't change the css page. 08:13, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah, a different table for each race. The plan is to put all the races in a table and all the subraces in a table on the main Cards page anyway, so there they'll be together. But on the Races page I prefer an separation per race for clarity. --Razorhead (talk) 08:45, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- Feel free to request Common.css changes in the Admin ToDo if you need it. I'll try to keep the classes generic so theyre reusable elsewhere. Plornt (talk) 08:50, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- Alright, all done! --Razorhead (talk) 10:45, 5 June 2015 (EDT)

Mobs
- I personally think that creatures such as Blood Snakes, Sun Hounds, etc. don't belong on this page. I think this page is better suited to creatures that actually have Race Cards, so Kobolds and Porcs can stay for now, although we have yet to include their cards. Also, what happened to the Race Card Template that was on this page? I see no reasoning for its removal.--Razorhead (talk) 04:01, 6 June 2015 (EDT)
- Yeah not sure what happened to the race template, but I vote for it back! Any other opinions? Pillowkeeper (talk) 09:23, 6 June 2015 (EDT)
- Agreed, if anyone can't give me a good reason for the change, I'll just revert it to its previous state and add Kobold and Porc to a 'Future Races' header or something. --Razorhead (talk) 09:34, 6 June 2015 (EDT)
- I've decided to add the reasoning here, copied from the user's talk page: --Razorhead (talk) 11:08, 6 June 2015 (EDT)
- Basically showing the cards didn't actually add any new information, but it did take up a ton of room on the page and prevented us from adding information about races we don't have cards for. If we want to display those cards it makes more sense to do it on the actual page for the each race instead of the main page listing all the races together.
- I still don't agree that Sun Hounds, Blood Snakes, EagleBears, MonkeyFish, Gemlings, Skeletons and Mermaids are Races though. Those belong on the NPC's page, under Mobs, not here in my opinion. --Razorhead (talk) 11:23, 6 June 2015 (EDT)
- Agreed. They are not races in the terms of the game. If they ever get the required background they can be added, but as of now they just appeared as creatures during a campaign. At least they should not have the same emphasis as the main races. Skydivizer (talk) 07:44, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
- The problem with this is that Koblods were never intended to be a playable Race, or at least not yet, however they were made so, meaning theoretically any Mob is a possible playable Race, especially the ones that can talk. Skeletons and Mermaids could potentially become playable Races. Had Philhipe never become a playable character by Deadbones we'd be fine, however now we've established that the Players can play as Mobs under certain circumstances and those Mobs have their own unique abilities when being played just like other races. And to be completely honest mobs ARE races, most just aren't playble races yet, that's why they were under the NPC title on this page. --Petertwnsnd (talk) 13:38, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- And here is another curve ball, I'm watching the VOD of Justin's Character creation stream and he, Roamin and DB revealed that its Pirate Themed week with the playable races as "Kobolds and Gnomes." I think we should just wait till friday to fix everything up with the Mobs vs. Races with the Kobolds, but I agree with you, Pete, just about any mob can be playable.--IronClark (talk) 13:43, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- I do think Kobolds were intended to be a playable race. I wouldn't know what the point of making cards for them is if the public will never see them. But since there are also cards for things like Slimes I could be wrong. Anyways for clarity I think we should just put races that are available at character creations as main races, or playable races whatever you want to call it. The rest of creatures/mobs/minor races could of course have their own section here or maybe put them on a seperate page. Putting it on the NPCs page does probably not make a lot of sense. I think that should just be for characters that aren't party members, not a listing of species. Skydivizer (talk) 14:21, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
