Paladin
The Paladin is a playable class prominently seen in the first campaign, the Nuren Campaign. Capable of yielding the extremely powerful Divine Intervention and acting to buff up the team whenever the opportunity arises, a the presence of a Paladin can serve a prominent role in keeping the party fighting even when all looks bleak.
Abilities
Until we receive an updated set of cards, the following are from the Nuren Campaign, and may change in the future.
Righteous Fury
Release all of your inner holy power in the form of a single attack. This strike will deal 25 damage in a 3 square radius centered on your target to all demons, undead, and children. This ability is only usable if a Party member dies.
Blessing of Strength
Cast a blessing on a target within 5 spaces. This blessing causes the target to deal double damage until the end of combat, For allies, they must yell a phrase chosen by the paladin at the time this ability is used when they attack. If they forget to yell this phrase, all of their rolls will fail.
Honor Chains
Shackle up two targets with honor chains which can be anchored to a third target or the ground. Any damage dealt to or by a target causes Three Stamina of damage to the target. A paladin may break the chains by whispering the ancient password of honor... "Penis"
Divine Intervention
You may use Three Stamina and reroll any die, Ally, or Foe. This ability can be used as many times as you like, but the stamina cost is doubled each re-roll you make.
Unholy Water
Throw a flask of Unholy Water at a target within 5 spaces. If the flask hits, you can prevent an action, attack, or move once instead do something else for which you suggest. This effect lasts until end of combat and only occurs when you decide it comes into effect on the target.
