Gwyneth Sunsword is an elf who is the leader of the Sunblades. She appears in the Roamin's Band of Thieves campaign.
History
Gwyneth was first seen inside of her home with some of her fellow elves. Squinks, in disguise as a young elven girl, walked in on them. Squinks took this opportunity to backstab his comrades by ratting out their location. Gwyneth took the word of the girl and left to search out the Monkey Fish King's cave for the gnomes.
After finding nothing by the Monkey Fish King, Gwyneth returned to her town and found Dave, the elf she left in charge of the little girl, standing outside the town cell with an untransformed Squinks inside. Dave revealed that he was bewitched by the Keen Gnome while his compatriots attempted to steal the key.
Enraged, Gwyneth met up with the thieves inside of her home and began a final battle with her Duskblade. The battle concluded with Gracias and K-4 jumping down the well to the Monkey Fish cave and Yumi and Squinks running out of the village. The elves did manage to capture the Kobold Paladin Philhipé, locking him up for several months before Gwyneth publicly executed him.

Personality
Gwyneth is a very strong warrior woman. She instills commands in all of her Sun Clerics, even to the point where Dave refused to be tricked until he was under the spell Charm. She is also very brutal to those who have wronged her. The Monkey Fish King even stated that if they have killed any of the elves under her command that she will kill them on the spot. Gwyneth even further exhibited this trait by having Philhipé locked up for several months before publicly executing him for damages against her village.
Powers / Abilities
Elven Physiology:
- Longevity: Elves have a significantly larger life span beyond that of a human. Dwarves being the few beings on par with their longevity.
- Elven Strength: Elves have superfluous strength that rivals that of Warrior Dwarves; however they prefer to utilize weapons or magic in combat situations.
- Elven Endurance: Elves have low muscle fatigue generation. This allows them to do more difficult tasks for a longer period of time or even withstand large explosions more easily than most.
- Self-Sustenance: Elves do not need to sleep or rest; instead they meditate or utilize magic based healing to regain their strength over prolonged periods of time.
- Magic Affinity: Elves have a natural magical nature, allowing them to utilize multiple forms of magic if they have learned it.
- Spellblade Dexterity: Spellblade Elves are more naturally attuned to battle, allowing them to be able to utilize their magical abilities and physical abilities immediately after one another.
- Solar Energy Immunity: Spellblade Elves have natural immunity to solar energy based weaponry and/or magical attacks. This allows them to easily coexist with the large Sun Hounds.
- Magic Sensing: Spellblades have the ability to sense magic. They can tell the difference from a natural fog and a magically generated fog.
