Groundbolds are visually similar to kobolds except that hey walk on all fours. They first appeared as giant groundbolds in The Many Gobos of Pat. The giant groundbolds are able to be ridden on. Groundbolds roll two dice like kobolds.

Characteristics

They walk on all fours and are covered in rocky fur, like kobolds. They are known to be able to be bribed and to fight for those who will give them the best offer, which happened in the second arena fight in The Many Gobos of Pat. Groundbolds are also known to bark. [1]

• Groundbolds were, along with kobolds, created in the original Unforgotten Realms cartoon.
• Groundbolds and kobolds are able to understand each other to a level that communication is far easier than it is with other races. [2]
• Groundbolds were planned to be a playable race, however Rob removed them and made them just a monster race. [3]
