Gnomes are, short, elflike creatures with exceptional technological and magical prowess.
Description
Gnomes start with one less character ability, but four random treasure cards. Gnomes may use an Item or Treasure card consumable or ability instead of moving each turn.
Sub-Races
Keen
Keen Gnomes may use any Treasure card item their allies have during your turn as if they had it, as long as they are within ten spaces of each other and have line of sight.
Okagnoma
Okagnoma Gnomes may take two Treasure cards and trade them in for a single random Treasure card. If used in combat, they may also use the new Treasure card.
Abilities
Gnome Physiology:
- Longevity: Gnomes naturally live longer than a human do, living several centuries longer.
- Subterranean Adaptation: Gnomes commonly live underground, allowing them to survive underground as easily as dwarves do.
- Technology Affinity: Most, if not all, Gnomes have a fondness for technology and inventing.
- Item Sharing: the Keen Gnome subspecies has an affinity for sharing their treasures within their close allies.
- Enhanced Inventing: The Okagnoma Gnome subspecies has an affinity for “Tinkering” with the various treasures they obtain. Whether the end result is beneficial to them is often up to debate.
