Cabalist

The Cabalist uses the power of shadows and diseases to damage, control or deceive enemies.

| Create a blanket of darkness in a 4x4 area. Targets inside this field of darkness slowly lose control of their mind each turn and cannot see or attack through it. The blank may be destroyed at anytime by a Runemaster causing all targets inside to take 3 damage in the resulting darkness implosion. | ||||||||||

| Deals 4 damage and restores your stamina equal to the damage you deal. Also don't be that guy and try casting this on Skeletons and other undead. It's gotta be living if you want to drain it's power. | ||||||||||

| Blind a taret with a simple spell, reducing the range of it's attacks and abilities down to 1. Targets can spend their turn clearing the nearsight if they wish and will become less likely to be affected by nearsights for the rest of combat. | ||||||||||

| Release a cloud of disease in a 3x3 area. At the start of your turn, targets in the Pestilence roll to see if they throw up. Each turn you may move the pestilence over 1 space if you like at the cost of your move. Targets inside the Pestilence cloud cannot regain Stamina in any way, except for Lifedrain of course. | ||||||||||

| Conjure forth a hand of shadow that swipes a 2x2 space dealing 5 damage. You may also use the Claw to grab a hold of a target stunning it for a turn or toss them across the room instead of swiping an area. | ||||||||||
Dark Magical Abilities:
- Darkness Aura: A Cabalist can coat an area with their dark aura to form a “Blanket of Darkness.” Anyone who steps into, or gets caught, in this area will be subjected to insanity and loss of sight and direction. A Runemaster can cause the dark aura to implode upon itself, damaging those still trapped inside.
- Insanity Inducement: Prolonged exposure to the Blanket of Darkness will cause anyone to slowly lose their minds.
- Blindness Inducement': While inside of the Blanket of Darkness, a person will be rendered blind to the world around them.
- Implosion Inducement: If the Blanket of Darkness is destroyed, then anyone inside of it will be subjected to an implosion.
- Animated Shadow Manipulation: A Cabalist can call forth a shadowy hand known as the “Grand Raven’s Claw.” The Cabalist who summoned the Claw can control what it shall do, such as griping the target, throwing the target, or simply swiping at it.
- Binding: The Claw can grip targets tightly, forcing them to be unable to move or utilize their own abilities.
- Life-Force Absorption: Cabalists have the ability to access to the dark spell “Lifedrain,” which will allow them to absorb the life-force of a target. Undead beings have natural immunity against this ability, as they lack life.
- Blindness Inducement: By utilizing the spell “Nearsight,” cabalists and render a target blind by covering their eyes with dark magic. Targets can attempt to remove the blindness, and if they are successful, they will have built up immunity against the spell.
- Disease Cloud Manipulation: Known as the spell “Pestilence,” Cabalist can generate a cloud of pure disease around a target. This will cause the target to be harmed from the poisonous elements within the cloud. The Cabalist can invoke the cloud to move as well.
