Rules

Since starting the wiki, it has grown a lot and its clear we need set rules to ensure the quality of the wiki is maintained. This page is a general guideline to follow whilst posting to the wiki. It also serves as a guide to moderators so they can help the wiki become better.

It is important to note that exceptions can be made to these rules if it generally makes sense. Common sense will always prevail over mindless deletion/banning.

Do not vandalise

To get the easy ones out of the way, this one is pretty blatant. No vandalising the wiki, that means no edits with the intent of deleting truthful information or generally spamming wiki pages.

Do not post fan fiction/lore

We'd like to keep the wiki clean of any fan lore etc. Whilst fan art (with author permission) is okay to post in their relevant sections, for the purpose of ensuring the wiki is accurate so that Rob can use the information in future campaigns if need be, we need to ensure the content is kept accurate.

Do not post fan made cards to the wiki

As stated above, fan made content (apart from fan art) should not belong on the wiki. Cards, whilst can be built on the wiki, should not be uploaded here and instead should be posted in the revelevant stickied thread at http://www.reddit.com/r/BuffaloWizards

Do post fan art when in the applicable spaces

You may post fan art in the applicable sections providing you are either the creator or you have permission from the author.

Do not redirect the pages listed on the MediaWiki:Pages_To_Not_Redirect page

Mainly for moderators of the wiki, however certain pages must not be redirected due to them tieing in with widgets on the wiki. If they get redirected they will cause those widgets to no longer function and as such any redirection that is required should be posted to the Admin_ToDo.
