Races are defining characteristics of each player and each race has two subraces to go along with it, each character has one race and one subrace.

Playable Races

Gnomes get one less character ability (2 instead of 3) but get four random Treasure Cards at the beginning of each game and are able to use an item or Treasure Card instead of moving.

Keen gnomes have the "Passback" skill. This allows Keens to use treasures cards that your allies have as long as you are in 10 spaces of them and have a line of sight.

Okagnoma gnomes have the "Tinker" skill. This allows Okagnomas to trade in two treasure cards they have and receive a completely random new treasure card (it can be the same card as one or both of the traded in cards.)

Dwarves starts with an additional 1000 gold. The next character they create on their next adventure is allowed to start with one of the treasure items they acquire.

Tall Dwarves have the "Duel Wield" ability and can use a basic attack each turn as their move if they are wielding two melee weapons. These Dwarfs are as tall as normal humans.

Hill Dwarves have the "Adrenaline" ability and can use a basic attack on a target adjacent to them even if it's not their turn every time a character is defeated by them or a character in their party.

Elves are "Masters of Magic" allowing them to choose two additional abilities from another class as long as they are spell abilities. Dave is a surprisingly common name in elven culture.

Noble Born Elves have the "Melding Magic" ability and can use a spell ability after an alley rolls a Critical after using an ability, even if it is not their turn.

Spellblade Elves have the "Spellblade" ability and can use a melee range attack on an adjacent target after casting a spell ability

NPC Races

NPC Races are races we've only seen NPC's use so far. It is possible though that one day they'll be used for players, since some possess Race Cards.

Humans are basic creatures. They are roughly the same size as tall dwarves. Currently we've only seen one confirmed human, Kormac, first seen in The Nuren Campaign.

Kobolds are short, furry, creatures that live in caves. They primarily eat gems and crystals of low quality. They are also known for their dislike of Dwarves. They roll two dice instead of one and take the highest roll but 20s are converted into ones. First seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves.

Triton Ground Kobolds have the "Berserking" ability and can use an additional action after rolling a Critical during their turn of combat.

Porcs are Orc like creatures that share physical similarities to pigs. First seen in Porc Hunters

Skeletons are undead creatures made entirely of bone. The lack the ability to speak in the common tounge, but have shown able to wield weapons such as bows in battle. First seen in The Nuren Campaign.

Mermaids are humanoid amphibious creatures that lack the ability to speak. First seen in The Nuren Campaign.

Monkey Fish are amphibious fish-monkey hybrids capable of speech. First seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves.

Gemlings are small crystalline creatures found in caves. The are very weak but can be trouble in large numbers. First seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves.

EagleBears are eagle-bear hybrids that are supposedly capable of flight. First seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves.

Blood Snakes are carnivorous reptiles constantly covered in blood commonly found in forests. First seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves.

Sun Hounds are canines capable of sun magic common used as pets for Spellblades. First seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves.

Not much are known about Clockodiles. They were first seen in Roamin's Band of Thieves when Squinks' disguise fails and randomly turns him into one. All that is known about them is that they appear to be Crocodiles that have a clock on their faces.

Undead skeleton Eleaphelks first seen in Porc Hunters
