Ethan

Ethan is McCoy's fantasy Grandpa. McCoy read about him in a book, and is very sentimental about him. He burned the book that he read about him in and used it as a smokescreen in The Jewel of the Dingo Isles.

History

In the book, Ethan served in a war and left to travel the world. When he returned home to his grandson he wasn't quite the same and his grandson didn't understand. Ethan suddenly died before his grandson, who was sent to counseling.
