Hi, wondering if any one else is getting https invalid certificate errors? Plornt (talk) 06:32, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
- Not here, but for me avast is verifying the certificate, so not much help from me. --Razorhead (talk) 06:47, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
- On desktop I get no errors. On my phone it yells at me about the certificate not being from a trusted authority. Skydivizer (talk) 06:52, 8 June 2015 (EDT)

- Create MultiUpload MediaWiki extension as the current ones are awful
- Finish Prop/Tile OBJ builder Widget
- Create puppetpals clone as apparently Rob isn't uploading his due to hardcoded IP/Not having time to clean up code (?)
- Create HP bar tool
- Finish up deck builder on card builder page to allow importing of custom cards to table top simulator easilly.
Just in case any one is wondering why I am doing the above is because I'd like to make it easy as possible for people to get custom games going without having to mess about with the awfulness that is importing models one by one into Table Top Simulator.

Produce Template For Character's pages.
I took care of it. Check out Template:Charbox --Petertwnsnd (talk) 12:54, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Make it so links open in new tabs.
- I'm not sure about this one, it could get messy for those navigating around. Have you tried just using CMD/CTRL clicking the link to open in new tab? I think this gives the user more control on what they want clicking a link to do. Plornt (talk) 15:25, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
- Is there any way to make it so just external links open in new tabs, e.g. for the link on the main page to coe's twitch CoconutM1lk (talk) 15:30, 2 June 2015 (EDT)

Could i have the page Cards added to the sidebar under the "The game" section
- Should we have a forum or a page for conversation on formatting and feedback (for example i would like to get some feedback on the Cards page) and i feel like that is not really relevant for an admin request page--Red Rath (talk) 16:54, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
- I think article specific format talk should be done in the discussion of the article itself. But perhaps for more general guidelines something like that might be good.Skydivizer (talk) 17:05, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
- Though how would you put forward a request for that opinion because unless it is a high traffic page there is going to be little to no traffic in the discussion page --Red Rath (talk) 17:13, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
- I see how that might be a problem. I honestly don't know. Could be that just showing up in the Recent Changes gathers enough attention. But perhaps like you said some sort of format discussion page might be better. Skydivizer (talk) 17:21, 2 June 2015 (EDT)

- I cleaned up the logo of URlive and I assume you need an admin to add it.
No idea how to even upload it onto the wiki so here it is through imgur.----->[1] Im happy to make any changes and available if you need something Photoshopped. --TorisLaurinaitis (talk) 21:45, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
- You can add files from the left hand bar under tools Pillowkeeper (talk) 21:50, 2 June 2015 (EDT)

There is a problem with the logo on the [Login Page[3]], this will need to be fixed by an Admin --Red Rath (talk) 04:41, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
Please delete the page Master of the Rolls, the official title is Game Master.Chronohawk (talk) 04:53, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
Could we please get this extension added to the wiki? It'll be really handy for the main page, as I'll replace the old title with a nice header.Chronohawk (talk) 21:31, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
Maybe somehow add a logo t o the name of the page in tab? Like this bit.CoconutM1lk (talk) 11:41, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- I added a logo earlier, it should show up when your browser reattempts to download the favicon.ico file. When I had originally put it up it was broken.
Is it possible to update images with files of a different filetype? The cards for week 2 seem to be JPGs. But the current ones are PNGs. When I try to upload them as newer versions it isn't allowed by the server.Skydivizer (talk) 04:56, 3 June 2015 (EDT) -- CANTFIX Plornt (talk) 15:46, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- Looking into it now! Plornt (talk) 05:17, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Alrighty, looked into it, it seems there is no extension to do this. I went through the code myself and the reason its failing is because its looking at the file contents as well as the old extension of the file meaning it fails the verification check (this is to protect users and the server ultimately). I can disable the mime checking but I dont really want to do that. I'll have a look more later on but it doesnt look like its possible without converting the image to a different type or changing the extension of the file when it changes. Plornt (talk) 05:36, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- I see. Thanks for looking into it. I'll just convert them to png for now. Skydivizer (talk) 05:41, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
I can't seem to get the #if statements in templates to work. I think Template:Class_Card_Sheet should be hiding unspecified rows, but it just shows them all. I tried just a simple if statement and doesnt seem to do anything at all. Don't know if I am doing something wrong or if #if needs some extension to work.Skydivizer (talk) 05:07, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Is there a fix for [[4]]? Images aren't showing up for me.CoconutM1lk (talk) 16:18, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Just wondering, will the site be robust enough for Saturday? It went down for a while last night when Coe linked the wiki to ~200 viewers. Not sure if there's a better place to ask.Pcplague (talk) 12:08, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- Server went down due to the database crashing, no idea what caused it but there wasnt any spike in usage shown on any of the stats which was weird. I'll make it restart when it crashes and put in some redundancy. Should be good to go for saturday Plornt (talk) 12:34, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- Okay just did a load test... Yeah didnt survive 50 users connecting all at once. Gotta increase some resources for the server. Plornt (talk) 13:37, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Also just wondering if we could add this http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Widgets to have widgets for youtube videos on the actual wiki.Plornt (talk) 05:56, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- <strike.Maybe it would be a good idea to get an extension to hide spoilers as many people might not have seen parts of the campaigns yet. CoconutM1lk (talk) 15:34, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- Whats peoples opinion on this? I dont know if this would clutter the pages a bit much. Perhaps if we have a spoiler box like a lot of TV show wikis have that explain at the top if the article contains spoilers? Plornt (talk) 15:40, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- If people are looking at the characters or main campaign, most people would assume that they will get spoilers. At the same time though, it may not be a bad to have a "Spoiler" template for major plot events. (Just my two cents. I know from experience that having too many extensions can cause unneeded overhead on the server side) Tdis8629 (talk) 15:55, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- I like the idea of a spoiler box at the top CoconutM1lk (talk) 16:09, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- I Dont think that a spoiler box would be needed maybe a disclaimer on the front page of the website stating that the wiki will contain spoilers otherwise it would be on almost every page on the wiki --Red Rath (talk) 16:16, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- Okay responses seem pretty clear that having spoiler tags would not be a good idea. If people want to mark spoilers then please create a spoiler box template! Plornt (talk) 11:29, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
I'm a wiki newb so I don't want to edit articles directly, so i'll just add some notes from time to time. Because I want to make sure the world, while goofy, doesn't have absoutely terrible character names, We have some different names/spelling for the Nuren campaign guys.

- Could you possibly add an extension that would make chatting on the wiki easier to follow and differentiate i was thinking of using [This[5]] extension. Thanks--Red Rath (talk) 15:13, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Or possibly this one that allows you to chat realtime, but might get a little annoying for other pages http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Chat Pillowkeeper (talk) 19:34, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Implemented chat Plornt (talk) 05:48, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- Is it possible to PM people? Maybe we could get an extension for that if one exists.
- Is it perhaps possible to have a text on the upload page to ask people to convert jpg images to png images before uploading them? When the jpg's get scaled down on the pages they're used on compression artefacts start to form. png doesn't have this problem, so I just spent a while downloading the jpg images and uploading their png versions, then updating all the links to them, but it would be easier if the png version were uploaded upright. --Razorhead (talk) 04:47, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- First of all, I don't think the archive works, and secondly, I uploaded most of the images from Rob's rar file. However, I have some left that were used as Supporter Event images. These are mostly the other images zoomed in onto a body part in a 500x500 square, but there are some unique ones present (eg. King Kai, Porc Spit, Lt. Surge, Meteor, Justin's Winter coat, ...). Should I upload just the unique ones or all the other ones as well? --Razorhead (talk) 05:51, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- What do you mean by the archive doesnt work? Like in a "this doesnt work well for what you're using the expandos for" or "It literally doesnt work"? The archive thing is literally just so I dont have to scroll through hundreds of messages to get to a new one, not meant to be an actual archive. Thanks for uploading and updating the majority of the images. I personally say we just upload them all as we never know when we might need to use them and we also never know if we might lose access to them in the future when we may decide to use them for something. Plornt (talk) 05:56, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- There is no expando on my page, I cannot see the archive unless I access the source, and sure, I'll update all the images, give me a sec. --Razorhead (talk) 06:05, 10 June 2015 (EDT)
- Thanks, hrm, just testing in firefox here (thats what you use right?) and it seems to be working... It should look like this: http://gyazo.com/f1a84931574e1d066cf459cfd548c54a 217.137.227.150 06:18, 10 June 2015 (EDT)

- I don't think the Locations link should be under the URealms tab on the side as it just leads to a category without much in it.
- I know there isn't much there now, but I do think it will become over time a place with a lot of places listed, it'd also be pretty cool to have a interactive world map (using the map that Coestar is making) that works like google maps on that page since he is adding the locations on to it. Plornt (talk) 04:34, 12 June 2015 (EDT)
- Is it perhaps possible to get some template pages running for ease of making new card info pages/characters/campaigns? Might help streamline the look of the wiki. Rdmgnrtdgy (talk) 10:04, 12 June 2015 (EDT)
- Can you guys downplay guests on the front page and in general articles? While guests may be part of URL's past and future, they are such a small part that I don't think it's important for the front page. I don't want to give people the impression they are something we really do a whole lot when it's not something we plan on doing much at all in the near future. Rob (talk) 01:26, 17 June 2015 (EDT)
Requests For Permission
- Certain users able to undo edits? Just an idea.
- Yeah, thats pretty much what this section is for realistically, if anyone wants to be a moderator of the wiki they can just put their name here (and request for it) and I'll look over their profile to make sure all is okay Plornt (talk) 16:32, 2 June 2015 (EDT)
- I would like to Put my name forward To be a moderator Thanks --Red Rath (talk) 16:37, 2 June 2015 (EDT)

- Is it possible to set the permissions for moderators posts to be auto patrolled, as i assume they are in a position of trust and i do not feel like i need to patroll the posts, this would help with looking through the recent edits to make sure that there is no vandalism. Thanks :) --Red Rath (talk) 13:44, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Can we get some clarification on who the moderators currently are? I can't find anywhere that lists it. --Petertwnsnd (talk) 17:13, 10 June 2015 (EDT)

- The new theme looks absolutely awesome. I'm working on changing the main page to match. Chronohawk (talk) 21:09, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Noticed that captions for framed images don't show up, like in Gemling for example, due to the white text. I think making frames and tables slightly darker would help, and also provide less jarring contrast. Pcplague (talk) 23:24, 3 June 2015 (EDT)
- Similarly when looking at the difference between revisions some text is very hard to read. Skydivizer (talk) 04:25, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- I was curious if we should talk about how the pages should look, as in should my Power Listings be included, as they have started to be removed from some pages. I'm just curious if they should be or not. Rather not step on anyones toes. --IronClark (talk) 12:51, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- Also the question thing is really difficult to read with the new theme as you can see here CoconutM1lk (talk) 11:41, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- On the old theme when I try to press the Edit button (not edit source) this pops up and I can't access the page? CoconutM1lk (talk) 15:23, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
- I tried changing the text-color of the second row onwards of Template:Card Sheet/Class to black for better readability, and while it works on that page, it doesn't seem to have been applied to the Class pages. Perhaps Common.css is overriding it? --Razorhead (talk) 13:10, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- This is due to Caching on the pages in order to speed up the wiki. It doesnt check for template updates unless you purge it. Editing the document or putting ?action=purge (before any #'s in the URL) on the page you want to purge should do the trick. Just tested it and succesfully changed the templates font color to black. Plornt (talk) 13:18, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- Thanks! I just purged all the class pages, so they are up-to-date.

- Hey, just wanted to let you know that on my browser the font used for the text for the tables of content and the sidebar gives the text an odd positioning. This is not a new issue, I just got around to posting this here. Here is how it looks like for me. I'm using Firefox 38.0.5 on Windows 8.1 --Razorhead (talk) 06:45, 8 June 2015 (EDT)
- Found another color issue; The Special:ListFiles page has some hard to read text. Skydivizer (talk) 14:19, 9 June 2015 (EDT)
Server Speed
- It seems fine to me. Simple pages load almost immediately and a clean load of the image heavy cards page is done in like 1.5-2s. Skydivizer (talk) 18:31, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Yep everything is working for me same as before. Pillowkeeper (talk) 18:36, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
Do we know if the server will be able to handle all the people coming to the site on Saturday? Pillowkeeper (talk) 10:46, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
- I asked Coestar's chat of 430~ people last night to give it a shot, I could still edit and move around fairly easily. IronClark (talk) 11:32, 5 June 2015 (EDT)
