Inky is a male Dwarf Paladin played by Roamin in The Nuren Campaign. Inky is one of the middle sons of "Mike Jackson," and twin brother to Blinky.

Characteristics

Race and Class

Inky is a normal male Dwarf that has training in the ways of a Paladin.

Personality

Inky, along with Blinky, were very much spereate from their siblings. They had the unpopular opinions of regarding the creation of Randall as unimportant and regarding New Dad as the true leader of the group. This caused the two to always side against Sir Spanky.

Powers and Abilities

Dwarven Physiology:

  • Longevity: Dwarves naturally live longer than a human do, living several centuries longer.
  • Dwarven Durability: Dwarves have denser muscle and internal organ structure than humans, allowing them to be more formidable in battle as opposed to less durable races.
  • Dwarven Endurance: Dwarves can do tasks for extended periods of time longer than human or similar races could.
  • Dwarven Strength: Dwarves are known for naturally having strength enough to lift several hundred pounds more than a human who undergoes training could.
  • Subterranean Adaptation: Due to Dwarven culture of living underground, Dwarf is naturally adapted to surviving low-light, underground caves and tunnel systems with ease.

Holy Knight Training:

  • Divine Empowerment: Paladins can access their own inner holiness. The result of this causes them to either empower their own abilities, their allies, or even perform holy magic.
    • Strength Augmentation: Paladins can cast upon a “Blessing of Strength” on a target. This will increase their physical strength for the duration of combat.
      • Verbal Dependence: Allies that have been blessed must recite a phrase of empowerment before attempting to attack a target. Should they fail, they will not be able to correctly hit the target.
    • Holy Chain Creations: By using the holy spell “Honor Chains,” Paladins can summon forth chains made out of pure light. These will attach a target to either another person or the ground. Only a Paladin can break the spell by whispering an ancient word of honor of their choosing.
      • Binding: The target of the spell is bounded to whatever the Paladin chose as an anchor. The target cannot move so long as the spell is in effect. Earlier versions of this spell allowed movement, but channeled the damage throughout the participants that were chained.
      • Spell Nullification: Any paladin can break the spell so long as they correctly whisper the ancient word of honor.
    • Probability Manipulation: A Paladin may call upon a “Divine Intervention” from the Game Master to potentially alter the probability of an outcome. It is still random if the second outcome will be beneficial or detrimental to the Paladin and their allies.
    • Unholy Projectile Attack: Paladins carry around bottles of “Unholy Water” that can be thrown at a target. If the target is successfully hit, the Paladin can halt or otherwise persuade the target from harming the Paladin or their allies.
      • Persuasion: While coated in the Unholy Water, targets will listen to what a Paladin will say for them to do. However they can reject an idea such as harming someone on the targets side.
