Not much is known about Sun Hounds. Up to this point none have been found in the wild. Meaning that either they are quite rare, Fenris is the only one of his kind, or that they have been domesticated by the Elves.

Sun Hounds also have the ability to create explosive constructs of solar energy. These ''Sun Tiles'', as they are called, will sap the life-force energy of anyone standing on them to the point of collapse. The Sun Tiles can erupt in an explosion if they are met in contact with the Elven Sun Bolts.
