The organization has been operating in secret from the various larger known organizations, and has only been mentioned in [[Supporter Events]] and a monologue by a Sandbold Illusion of [[Maelstrom]].

It is currently unknown as to when the Order of Chaos was established or why. From the current recorded history of the Realm, the Order of Chaos seems to first appeared after the Birth of Magic, and in translating the Elvish text seen in [[Azveltara Z]], they appear after the Purge of the Beenu.

Their actions behind the scenes are, as of yet, unrevealed, but seem to be connected to several elements hidden in the Realms, such as the [[Sins of the Unforgotten]], the time altering Sandbolds, the [[Old Gods]] and [[Maelstrom]]'s mysterious eye.
