Dave first appeared in the [[Sun Cleric]] town among [[Gwyneth Sunsword | Gwyneth]] and other Sun Clerics. [[Squinks]], currently disguised as a young elven girl, happened upon them. Squinks decided to back-stab his party, revealing that several [[Gnome | Gnomes]] were in the [[Monkey Fish | Monkey Fish King]] cave. Dave was left in charge of the false girl, while the others went to search the cave.

Squinks attempted to edge Dave to go help his fellow elves search, but Dave was very firm in his orders. Squinks resorted to casting ''Charm'' on Dave, enlisting him to help. The charmed Dave then helped his new temporary master to hide in the town's jail and would assist at a later time to break him out.

This plan would not last, as the Charm broke, causing Dave to leave Squinks in the jail and join his fellow elves in the final battle against the gnomes.

Dave appeared as an ally to the protagonists of this campaign, the [[Theta Squad]], one of whom was his old pal from college [[Chilly Wizzy]]. They helped him defeat [[Chimera]], a captured [[Kobold]] who had escaped via the donation goal: Unnatural Critical. Afterwards he gave their leader, [[Ca-Rell|Captain Ca-Rell]], four [[Treasures]] as a reward for assisting in the recapture of Chimera. Shortly after he left with his prisoner and the rest of his elven companions.

Not much of Kormac's early life is known, but what is known is that Jonn-Dar murdered his father. This caused him to seek revenge later in life. Kormac also became a member of the [[George Clan]] and an associate of [[Mike Jackson]], a meeting that would later lead him to Jackson's children. He soon came under the employment of [[Nisovin]] and enlisted the [[Dwarven Siblings]] in going to [[Bopen's Lair]].

After several sibling squabbles, Kormac was dubbed "New Dad" by the [[Dwarves]] and led them to the lair. After entering the dungeon, he instructed the siblings to delve further, to be wary of the Poisonous Mushrooms and to answer the riddle of the Lion King. After that he slinked into the darkness to pursue his own agenda. He later finds his adopted children having not progressed at the pace he expected them to, disciplining them for having been distracted by the [[Mermaid|mermaid]] and having killed the peaceful [[ogre]] [[Krungore]], who had informed them about the cave systems to begin with.
