==Characteristics==

===Appearance===
Xavius knows the [[Spell of bearding]] and has a beard. In [[The Sunswords]] he decided to grow his beard back when the party decides to camp for a bit in order to become [[Gwyneth Sunsword]]'s boyfriend again. Later on, he would have a beard covering up the bottom half of his entire face similar to a mask. Xavius can still breathe fine through the large beard, however. Eventually, due to the wild, uncontrolled growth of his facial hair, Xavius would shave it off using [[Dave]]'s [[Fireball | Spell of Shaving]].

===Personality===
Xavius openly admits that he still has feelings for [[Gwyneth Sunsword]], and he is generally seen acting as a jealous ex-boyfriend would. He often takes jabs at Gwyneth's love interest at the time, [[Kallark]], and even attempts to grow a better beard (through magic) to get Gwyneth's attention. Gwyneth, however, claims that Xavius is conceited and that he is only attracted to power. 
Xavius displays some very selfish personality traits. He is willing to manipulate Gwyneth, using her confusion (caused by the work of the [[Leader's Heartoak Staff]] acquired by Dave) to try and force her to date him again. He was also willing to use the body of the unconscious [[Ian Bates]] to shield himself from an approaching arrow, resulting in Ian's death. Finally, he froze Kallark with a Ray of Frost in order to steal his [[Tambok Ticket]] (unfortunately destroying the ticket in the process) and then lied to Gwyneth, saying that Kallark simply got drunk.

Xavius is an ex-boyfriend of Gwyneth Sunsword, until the end of [[The Sunswords]] campaign when Gwyneth stated they are getting back together again.

Xavius is an older cousin to Phineas. Xavius, unlike Phineas' brother [[Templeton Barringster VII]], encourages Phineas to explore and go out on an adventure. Xavius watches over Phineas very well and want to make him happy. This is notable when, at the end of [[The Sunswords]] campaign, Xavius said that Phineas should leave the part out where he was hiding from fear, trying to get the [[kobold]] prisoners to help fight a [[porc]] invasion.

Not many interactions is known between Xavius and Templeton. Xavius is the cousin of Templeton who Xavius refers to as a "tight-ass" when mentioning him to Phineas.

An unnamed aunt of the Barringster family, who is the mother of Phineas and Templeton, that bakes [[Treasures#Elven_Sugar_Cookies | Elven Sugar Cookies]] for her family. Her family is not very fond of these cookies; they aren't very delicious. However, the family still uses them for their magical effects in combat.

Kallark was the current boyfriend of Gwyneth, up until the end of The Sunsword campaign where they officially broke up. Xavius does not like him very much in the position of Gwyneth's boyfriend. He thinks that Kallark is inferior to him and usually takes many quips about Kallarks genetalia size. However, they both respect Gwyneth enough to not kill each other.

Xavius is slightly indifferent to Dave, but they still are good comrades in The Sunswords. They have some interaction with each other when both Dave and Xavius' [[Spell of bearding | magical beards]] got out of control and needed to be shaved by Dave's [[Fireball | Spell of Shaving]].

===Background===
At some point before the Sunswords campaign, Xavius was in a relationship with [[Gwyneth Sunsword]]. According to Xavius, the relationship only deteriorated due to long distance and lack of communication.

===[[The Sunswords]]===
Xavius was a member of the squad tasked with escorting a carriage full of prisoners to the [[Silver Mine Mountains]]. The squad was under the command of Xavius' former girlfriend, Gwyneth Sunsword, and her current boyfriend, [[Kallark]]. Right from the start, Xavius displayed some distaste for Kallark. Xavius was ordered to supervise the latest elf recruits, particularly the nervous [[Ian Bates]].

While traversing a Ytt-inhabited canyon, a wounded Ian Bates was saved from certain death by Xavius who yanked Ian out of the way of a large rolling boulder with [[Draggin Lightning]]. However, moments later, the self-preserving Thane used the same ability on Ian to block a misfired arrow, killing Ian. At the end of the canyon, every member of the team - except for Kallark - was scolded by Gwyneth for their sloppy performance, and Xavius was demoted.

Xavius and [[Rufio]] were then tasked with burying Ian Bates while the others set up camp to rest. Likely jealous of Kallark, Xavius made use of the [[Spell of Bearding]] in an attempt to gain Gwyneth's attention. When two goblin merchants approached the team to offer their wares, Xavius and his Elven crew attacked the goblins on instinct, killing one and arresting the other. After finally getting a moment to rest, Xavius was unexpectedly approached by his young cousin, [[Phineas]], who had come bearing cookies for Xavius. Gwyneth allowed the adventurous young Elf to tag along with the team under Xavius' supervision. Before the caravan crew carried on, Xavius learned that Gwyneth was carrying Kallark's child.

When the group encountered a blazing barn swarming with fire elementals, Xavius kept a watchful eye on his young cousin who was instructed to remain with the prison carriage. Xavius was quick to respond to the [[Flame Spooky]] that emerged from the inferno, however, he struggled to connect his attacks against the terror and accidentally tossed away his [[Dwarven Runeblade]].

The group came across a bridge with an ogre blocking the way. The ogre requested a [[Tambok Ticket]] as payment for safe passage. Coincidentally, only Xavius and Kallark possessed a ticket, but neither one was willing to give up his treasure. Gwyneth tried to persuade Xavius to give up his ticket which resulted in an argument between the two where Xavius confessed that he still has feelings for Gwyneth. The two were interrupted by Kallark who oddly displayed a significant amount of affection towards Xavius (due to the [[Leader's Heartoak Staff]]). Kallark then invited Xavius to have a private conversation behind the carriage where Xavius was met with a half naked Kallark. This awkward moment was cut short by Phineas attacking Kallark and usurping leadership of the party. Several minutes later, Xavius found Phineas making out with [[Bob]]. After witnessing his cousin flip through a range of emotions, Xavius blasted Kallark with a [[Ray of Frost]] in an attempt to swipe the ticket so that the group may proceed. Unfortunately, the spell was more potent than expected, and the fragile ticket was destroyed while Kallark was frozen solid. Luckily for Xavius, he was not forced to give up his ticket as he pointed out that the ogre was actually in no condition to fight because it was suffering from a seizure, allowing the group to slip by.

Near the end of the journey, the crew fell into trap set by one of the prisoners, [[Jakelad]]. The devious [[Porc]] summoned many of his allies to assault the caravan and cover his escape. Against his better judgement, Xavius allowed Phineas to release the remaining prisoners in this desperate moment. Fortunately, the prisoners chose to fight alongside Gwyneth's squad and played a significant part in shifting the battle in favor of Xavius and his allies. The Porc ambushers were eventually defeated, although Jakelad was able to escape and Gwyneth had lost her unborn child in a tragic occurrence. With the mission completed, Phineas said farewell to his cousin and headed back home. Kallark, however, seemed to have suddenly disappeared leaving Gwyneth to spitefully accept Xavius back as her boyfriend.

==Characteristics==
===Appearance===
Phineas is an elf that is smaller than his [[Templeton Barringster VII | older brother]]. He has eyes that are a bit more rounder and have a slight gleam in them that reflects his young age and wishful spirit. Phineas shares the same hair style as Templeton, but is obscured by his crimson hat.

He wears a long sleeved red tunic that is accented by gold around the end of the sleeves. He has light red/pink leggins, brown boots and a brown belt. Phineas also wears a long red cape that is much too long, dragging on the ground slightly behind him.

===Personality===
Phineas is very enthusiastic, wanting to go on an adventure constantly. His older brother disapproves of this, saying that it is too dangerous every time Phineas wants to go out in the world. Phineas also has a fondness towards [[Gnomes]], as shown by his actions towards [[Bob]] and by having three gnome servants in his household. He is, at first, sexist towards female elves, but later on becomes sexist towards male elves and strengthen his love towards gnomes under the influence of [[Dave | Dave's]][[Treasures#Love_Staff | Love Staff]]. He also prefers the taste of Goblin Eyeballs, rather than the kidneys which what the rest of the elves prefer to eat. Phineas seems to know various abilities and information about the world, sometimes choosing to reveal them to others. 
Phineas has a certain brutality to him, wanting to kill a Porc only to bring a skull back as a trophy in [[The Sunswords]], ordering Bob (The only non-goblin-hating member of the team) to execute a goblin and even attempting to stab Kallark when he was down to become leader himself. This power-hungry, manipulative and sadistic side seems to be hidden most of the time, and Phineas appears to be a young, ambitious, lovable elf. However, he betrays his nature by the occasional misogynistic or violent comment.

Phineas is a felinophobe.

Templeton is the older brother of Phineas. He is very protective towards his younger brother, never wanting anything bad to happen to him he prevents Phineas from going on adventures. This upsets Phineas very much as, most likely due to his young age, he does not fully realize the potential dangers of an adventure. When Phineas ran off from his brother to fight the [[Porcs]] near his village, Templeton alerted [[Theta Squad]] to try and save his brother.

In the [[The Sunswords]] campaign, Phineas brings [[Treasures#Elven Sugar Cookies|Elven Sugar Cookies]] made by his mother to his cousin, [[Xavius]]. Phineas is an elf that is smaller than his [[Templeton Barringster VII | older brother]]. He has eyes that are a bit more rounder and have a slight gleam in them that reflects his young age and wishful spirit. Phineas shares the same hair style as Templeton, but is obscured by his crimson hat.

He wears a long sleeved red tunic that is accented by gold around the end of the sleeves. He has light red/pink leggins, brown boots and a brown belt. Phineas also wears a long red cape that is much too long, dragging on the ground slightly behind him.

===Personality===
Phineas is very enthusiastic, wanting to go on an adventure constantly. His older brother disapproves of this, saying that it is too dangerous every time Phineas wants to go out in the world. Phineas also has a fondness towards [[Gnomes]], as shown by his actions towards [[Bob]] and by having three gnome servants in his household. He is, at first, sexist towards female elves, but later on becomes sexist towards male elves and strengthen his love towards gnomes under the influence of [[Dave | Dave's]][[Treasures#Love_Staff | Love Staff]]. He also prefers the taste of Goblin Eyeballs, rather than the kidneys which what the rest of the elves prefer to eat. Phineas seems to know various abilities and information about the world, sometimes choosing to reveal them to others. 
Phineas has a certain brutality to him, wanting to kill a Porc only to bring a skull back as a trophy in [[The Sunswords]], ordering Bob (The only non-goblin-hating member of the team) to execute a goblin and even attempting to stab Kallark when he was down to become leader himself. This power-hungry, manipulative and sadistic side seems to be hidden most of the time, and Phineas appears to be a young, ambitious, lovable elf. However, he betrays his nature by the occasional misogynistic or violent comment.

== Description ==
Kobolds are a small mammal race with sharp claws that are often found residing in caves and rocky habitats. Most Kobolds dislike getting wet, likely due to their preference of a dry, dark habitat. They have an outer layer of rock and mud that gives them the appearance of fur. This appearance allows them to blend into surrounding mountains and rocky terrain.

Kobolds have natural Night Vision, but this is not inherent to all members of the species. Members such as [[Philhipé]], [[Kinney Boots]], and [[Jo Krysstal]] do not have this ability. Philhipé had to overcome this by using an eye patch to keep an eye dilated.

Kobolds are often regarded as stupid beasts by other races, notably by [[Elf|Elves]] and [[Porc|Porcs]]. This causes them to seek employment as bandits, thieves, or even pirates.

The Kobolds are a very religious race, with most Kobolds becoming [[Paladin]]s in a manner to uphold their faith. It is currently unknown what the Kobolds or Paladins believe in. The Paladin Kobolds are often designated as the health unit while in a group of Kobolds. Kobolds can train to wield three weapons at once, due to their powerful jaws. The first notable Kobold to do this was [[Chimera]], who was regarded as a highly dangerous criminal.

Kobold hierarchy allows the leaders of Kobolds to be undefiable, forcing them to do whatever the leader tells them to.

Kobolds' diet revolves around digesting various minerals and rocks, preferably of zero monetary value. They can eat gem-like creatures, such as [[Gemling|Gemlings]] as well. Kobolds can digest other food, such as fish, but greatly seek something to their tastes. Kobolds at sea have been known to resort to eating cannonballs. Pattenborrow was once a member of the Paladin Order along with many others and had a loving wife, daughter and son. However once the Medusa took control over the minds of the dwarven Paladins, Pattenborrow's family died in a horrible fire while he was being hunted. Some time later he happened across a group of homeless goblins, [[Warren]], [[Terrence]], [[Desnuttes]], [[Dankie]], [[Madelyne]] and [[Pryor]]. With his initaly hatred for the species gone, he decided to adopt them and create a new family.

Many years have passed since the adoption of Pat's new family, and Pat has taken to liking Desnuttes above the rest of his family. Often meditating and giving him personal training in secret. On the anniversary of the adoption, Pat gathered his family around and gave them each gifts. Gifting Madelyne a new Blunderbuss, Pryor a hug, Warren a claim to his special mace, and Dankie a Crystal Flatscreen. Pat left Dankie to play with his new present, while he meditated with Denuttes. But while this happened, Pat forgotten about the magical cookies he had baking for Warren and Terrence, leaving them to burn in the oven. He came back down to see, what he believed to be dwarven smut on the Crystal Flatscreen (which was actually [[Bumbley|K-4]]), and became furious, cancelling the rest of the presents and festivities.

== Plot ==
[[Merci|Captain Merci]] of the [[Bocoe]] is told by [[Nisovin]] to follow a map to find a precious treasure and bring it to him. If it is found valuable to Nisovin, he may reward the crew generously.

As the crew are on their course sailing in [[The Drink]], a large flock of [[Harpy|Harpies]] fly onto the ship, hoping to get some of the crew's fish yogurt. As the crew begins to slay the Harpies, an [[EagleBear]] also flies onto the ship in pursuit of the fish yogurt. [[Octivias]] is mysteriously thrown overboard into the [[Glamourshark]]-infested water, and starts to drown. Merci, buckled to [[Kinney Boots]] on the Bocoe's deck, rappels to the water and Octivias grabs on. Kinney pulls them safely back onto deck. During the fight, [[McCoy]] tries to steer the ship and defeats the Harpies at the Bocoe's rear, and [[Jo Krysstal]] clears many of the rest. The EagleBear is quickly brought to low stamina and tries to fly away, but passes out into the water. Jo, Kinney, and Merci help [[Jakelad]] clear out the remaining Harpies below deck. Some Harpies were able to steal a few items, and Jakelad has run out of fish yogurt.

Soon after the crew reorganizes, the crew hears noises they believe to be ghosts. The source is revealed to be a massive monster known as the [[Behemoth]], which shoots out four tentacles from the water. Seeing only the tentacles, the crew begins to load the cannons to blow them away. While Captain Merci and some of his crew were being grabbed by tentacles, [[Jakelad]] reveals he is part of the Bone Cult and worships the Behemoth. After trying to back-stab Octivias, he is hunted down and later kill by [[Kinney Boots|Kinney Boots]] who beats his face in with a mace and throws his body overboard. Meanwhile, the Behemoth starts stealing various crates from the deck of the ship. First Mate [[McCoy]] loses his left arm, but due to a blessing from the Bone Cult, he suffers the curse of the sea and gains a tentacle arm. The Behemoth is eventually stopped by having all its tentacles except for one be blown to bits. The Behemoth begins to rock the boat, and Octivias gets thrown overboard once again. However, thanks to McCoy's new tentacle arm he is pulled back up and brought to safety.

Elmar is an easy-going and friendly Elf. He gets along with everyone in the team and was the only squadron member to obey the captains orders in the beginning. His laissez-faire attitude does have some drawbacks however, as he didn't seem to care about the Fire Spirit he accidentally created, the forest it burned down or the Elf he decapitated trying to defeat it.

He is loyal to his team mates, respects his captain's decisions and is not afraid of taking command, which caused him to be promoted to Corporal and eventually to succeed Ca-Rell as Captain of the Theta Squad.

Just like most Elves, he hates [[Goblins]] and laughed so hard at one's misfortune he promptly fell of a bridge. This did cause some issues, since Elmar has severe hydrophobia and cannot swim.

Due to his easy-going attitude, he meshes well with DeNada. They often share some drinks together at the bar and consider themselves best buds. Elmar and Templeton never really had any extensive relationship, viewing themselves mostly as co-workers. This neutral relationship remained until the end, although Elmar did his best to avoid much contact with Templeton.

Although she is usually obedient of the law, she is willing to turn a blind eye to her squadron members mishaps, even overlooking Elmar accidental decapitation of another Elf. While she usually tries to inspire her soldiers by giving speeches and motivating them with the promise of glory, she was in the beginning not very good at them and commandeered no respect among her troops, having to resort to bribery with promises of future Treasures and pay raises. Midway through the journey she even tries to motivate her members by giving them higher ranks, which actually works. Near the end of the campaign she has grown into a capable leader respected by her teammates, even inspiring bravery among them in the face of a giant Porc horde.

Although she is friendly to most people she encounters and she usually tries to solve her problems with diplomacy (even with the Porc horde she was tasked to eradicate), she has, just like most elves, a deep-seeded and enormous hatred for [[Goblins]], viewing them as 'vile and despicable beings, truly the scum of the earth'. Not only did she take part in a group beating of a single Goblin after laughing at its failures, after having defeated a band of Goblin Thieves she made sure that all Goblins were killed, even the ones just knocked unconscious.
