Douglass has worked for Sallazhar as a bodyguard for a long time, and follows Sallazhar's commands faithfully, though his low intelligence and gullibleness often annoys the elf.

Douglass was Lance's babysitter, but took a more lax approach to Lance's safety (often throwing him around) claiming that he'd be fine due to his tough skin and/or his meta knowledge of Lance's inability to die within the events of [[The Lightbeards]]. However, Douglass did still make Lance's safety a priority, as he immediately attempted to bring Lance to safety when his mother was enraged. Douglass sung lullabies to Lance to get him to sleep, but they seemed unsuccessful and caused Lance to cry, seemingly because Douglass used his knowledge of the [[Old Gods]] to tell Lance his future. Such knowledge is represented in this lullaby:

Douglass was a babysitter for [[Bruce Willakers|Bruce]] and [[Virendra Willakers]], he frequently cared for their son [[Lance Willakers|Lance]].

After Virendra ascended during the battle against Thor, Douglass carried Lance to safety. Sallazhar Sintour helped them escape through a painting.

===[[Galen Sunsword: Private Investigator]]===
When Sallazhar disappeared during a confrontation with Galen, Douglass came out of hiding to attack the group of lawyers. However, they were able to talk him out of it by stating that they had a warrant, and could arrest him if he and the other guards didn't comply. As the group was about to leave, [[Zeddicus Daniels]] found Sallazhar hiding, who then called out for Douglass to attack them again. However, this battle, too, was cut short when [[Grungle Numpston]] cut Douglass off from the party with an Earthquake.

The next day, the group met Douglass again in the Pony Casino, and he explained that he was working there since his other job wasn't going too well. When Grungle was found to be a lawyer, he then said that he had to ask Numpston to leave, and that he'd have to 'legally damage him in a few places' otherwise. Grungle agreed to this, and left with Douglass.

'''Dvergrs''', also known as '''Dvergr Dvergrs''', are a race of [[Dwarf|Dwarves]] that have tough, rocky skin that allows them to transform into a pure stone statue in self-defense. According to [[List of Minor Characters#Professor Spydly Spyderson|Professor Spydly Spyderson]] in [[Okagnoma Guild Hall]], the Dwarves, and by extension the Dvergrs, were created by Divine Aspect [[Thor]] after the [[Birth of Magic]]. Many Dvergrs have a natural speech impediment that causes them to repeat the last word of a sentence. Dvergrs first appeared in [[The Unseen Rogues]].

== Description ==
Dvergrs have a few notable differences to their Dwarven kin, with their skin appearing rocky and having several cracks like those of rocks being the most notable. The other notable difference between Dvergrs and Dwarves is that they have excessive hair growth, with hair growing over every part of their body.

There have been two culturally different Dvergrs that have been seen. First seen were the Dvergrs who integrated in the city society, by [[Nate Tack]], and was dubbed the "Urb Dvergrs". These Dvergrs maintain their excessively long hair in a manner similar to that of Dwarves, with Nate actually refusing to go into Stone Form to further distance himself from the other Dvergrs. The other culture of Dvergrs was described by [[Rob]] to be that of hermits, living away from society and never cutting their hair, allowing it to grow to unimaginable lengths.
