Not much is known about Ghana's past, other than from conversations with [[Virgo Sunsword]]. Ghana is an experienced tracker who has been a long time friend of Virgo, even trusting him with the [[Pearl of Hindsight]] that acts as Virgo's glass eye. His surname used to be Briggs, but he changed it after a vision told him to.

Xavius knows the [[Spell of bearding]] and has a beard. In [[The Sunswords]] he decided to grow his beard back when the party decides to camp for a bit in order to become [[Gwyneth Sunsword]]'s boyfriend again. Later on, he would have a beard covering up the bottom half of his entire face similar to a mask. Xavius can still breathe fine through the large beard, however. Eventually, due to the wild, uncontrolled growth of his facial hair, Xavius would shave it off using [[Dave]]'s [[Wizard#Fireball|Spell of Shaving]].

===Personality===
Xavius openly admits that he still has feelings for [[Gwyneth Sunsword]], and he is generally seen acting as a jealous ex-boyfriend would. He often takes jabs at Gwyneth's love interest at the time, [[Kallark]], and even attempts to grow a better beard (through magic) to get Gwyneth's attention. Gwyneth, however, claims that Xavius is conceited and that he is only attracted to power. 
Xavius displays some very selfish personality traits. He is willing to manipulate Gwyneth, using her confusion (caused by the work of the [[Leader's Heartoak Staff]] acquired by Dave) to try and force her to date him again. He was also willing to use the body of the unconscious [[List_of_Minor_Characters#Ian Bates|Ian Bates]] to shield himself from an approaching arrow, resulting in Ian's death. Finally, he froze Kallark with a Ray of Frost in order to steal his [[Tambok Ticket]] (unfortunately destroying the ticket in the process) and then lied to Gwyneth, saying that Kallark simply got drunk.

Xavius is an ex-boyfriend of Gwyneth Sunsword, until the end of [[The Sunswords]] campaign when Gwyneth stated they are getting back together again. In [[The Silvermine Mountains]] campaign, Gweneth had Xavius rubbing her back, and told him she wasn't ready to have a baby.

Xavius is Phineas' elder cousin. Xavius, unlike Phineas' brother [[Templeton Barringster VII]], encourages Phineas to explore and seek adventure. Xavius cares very deeply for Phineas and dotes on the younger elf. Phineas, in return, respects Xavius and looks up to him. Phineas is usually willing to listen to Xavius' instructions, especially when his safety is concerned.

Not much is known about Xavius' relationship with his cousin Templeton. Xavius thinks Templeton is a bit "tight-ass".

Kallark was the current boyfriend of Gwyneth, up until the end of The Sunsword campaign where they officially broke up. Xavius does not like him very much in the position of Gwyneth's boyfriend. He thinks that Kallark is inferior to him and usually takes many quips about Kallarks genetalia size. However, they both respect Gwyneth enough to not kill each other.

===Background===
At some point before the Sunswords campaign, Xavius was in a relationship with [[Gwyneth Sunsword]]. According to Xavius, the relationship only deteriorated due to long distance and lack of communication.

===[[The Sunswords]]===
Xavius was a member of the squad tasked with escorting a carriage full of prisoners to the [[Silvermine Mountains (Location)|Silvermine Mountains|]]. The squad was under the command of Xavius' former girlfriend, Gwyneth Sunsword, and her current boyfriend, [[Kallark]]. Right from the start, Xavius displayed some distaste for Kallark. Xavius was ordered to supervise the latest elf recruits, particularly the nervous [[List_of_Minor_Characters#Ian Bates|Ian Bates]].

While traversing a Ytt-inhabited canyon, a wounded Ian Bates was saved from certain death by Xavius who yanked Ian out of the way of a large rolling boulder with [[Thane#Draggin Lightning|Draggin Lightning]]. However, moments later, the self-preserving Thane used the same ability on Ian to block a misfired arrow, killing Ian. At the end of the canyon, every member of the team - except for Kallark - was scolded by Gwyneth for their sloppy performance, and Xavius was demoted.

Xavius and [[Rufio]] were then tasked with burying Ian Bates while the others set up camp to rest. Likely jealous of Kallark, Xavius made use of the [[Spell of Bearding]] in an attempt to gain Gwyneth's attention. When two goblin merchants approached the team to offer their wares, Xavius and his Elven crew attacked the goblins on instinct, killing one and arresting the other. After finally getting a moment to rest, Xavius was unexpectedly approached by his young cousin, [[Phineas]], who had come bearing cookies for Xavius. Gwyneth allowed the adventurous young Elf to tag along with the team under Xavius' supervision. Before the caravan crew carried on, Xavius learned that Gwyneth was carrying Kallark's child.

When the group encountered a blazing barn swarming with fire elementals, Xavius kept a watchful eye on his young cousin who was instructed to remain with the prison carriage. Xavius was quick to respond to the [[Flame Spooky]] that emerged from the inferno, however, he struggled to connect his attacks against the terror and accidentally tossed away his [[Dwarven Runeblade]].

The group came across a bridge with an ogre blocking the way. The ogre requested a [[Tambok Ticket]] as payment for safe passage. Coincidentally, only Xavius and Kallark possessed a ticket, but neither one was willing to give up his treasure. Gwyneth tried to persuade Xavius to give up his ticket which resulted in an argument between the two where Xavius confessed that he still has feelings for Gwyneth. The two were interrupted by Kallark who oddly displayed a significant amount of affection towards Xavius (due to the [[Leader's Heartoak Staff]]). Kallark then invited Xavius to have a private conversation behind the carriage where Xavius was met with a half naked Kallark. This awkward moment was cut short by Phineas attacking Kallark and usurping leadership of the party. Several minutes later, Xavius found Phineas making out with [[Bob]]. After witnessing his cousin flip through a range of emotions, Xavius blasted Kallark with a [[Sorcerer#Ray of Frost|Ray of Frost]] in an attempt to swipe the ticket so that the group may proceed. Unfortunately, the spell was more potent than expected, and the fragile ticket was destroyed while Kallark was frozen solid. Luckily for Xavius, he was not forced to give up his ticket as he pointed out that the ogre was actually in no condition to fight because it was suffering from a seizure, allowing the group to slip by.

Near the end of the journey, the crew fell into trap set by one of the prisoners, [[Jakelad]]. The devious [[Porc]] summoned many of his allies to assault the caravan and cover his escape. Against his better judgement, Xavius allowed Phineas to release the remaining prisoners in this desperate moment. Fortunately, the prisoners chose to fight alongside Gwyneth's squad and played a significant part in shifting the battle in favor of Xavius and his allies. The Porc ambushers were eventually defeated, although Jakelad was able to escape and Gwyneth had lost her unborn child in a tragic occurrence. With the mission completed, Phineas said farewell to his cousin and headed back home. Kallark, however, seemed to have suddenly disappeared leaving Gwyneth to spitefully accept Xavius back as her boyfriend.

Xavius had an argument with [[Kallark]] about giving him [[Unter]] and [[Gunter]], the kobold children who's house burnt down. Xavius argued that he was only supposed to let prisoners in, not out. Gwyneth broke up the argument, and instructed Xavius to bring the new prisoners to their cells. He was later tricked by [[Margaret O'Malley]] into giving away his armor and locking himself in his cell. Margaret's plan failed when the guard guarding that cell block noticed Margaret was impersonating Xavius. Xavius later had a conversation with Gwyneth while rubbing her back, about having children. Gwyneth stated that she wasn't ready for kids, and Xavius argued that she was. When [[The Ageless One]] was awakened in the [[Silvermine Mountains (Location)|Silvermine Mountains]], Xavius turned to Gwyenth to help her leave the collapsing cave, but a rock fell and crushed him as he turned to her.

During the Silvermine Mountains Campaign Xavius was crushed by a boulder while trying to escape from the release of [[The Ageless One]].

* According to Rob, if [[Rufio]] had been killed before the Painful Twist donation event was activated, Xavius would have been the one to stab [[Gwyneth]].
* Since Xavius is a cousin to Phineas, and Phineas is Virgo's godson, this technically means that Xavius dated his cousin's godfather's daughter.

* Though it was at first teased that [[Porc Hunters]] might take place after [[Band of Thieves]] when it was mentioned that the [[Kobold]] that [[Dave]] was escorting was connected to a band of thieves that attacked the Sunswords, this was just to mislead the audience. The prisoner was actually [[Chimera]], not [[Philhipé]], and he was connected to the [[List of Organizations#The Murder Bros|Murder Bros]], not [[List of Organizations#Yumi's Band of Thieves|Yumi's band of thieves]].

=== Timeline Placement of Kobold Headhunters ===

=== Sunswords precedes Band of Thieves ===
[[Gwyneth Sunsword]] mentions whilst she has a baby her desire to go and spend some time with some [[Sun Cleric]]s. She, however, loses the baby, so likely did not do this straight after [[Sunswords]]. Gwyneth does do this at some point, however, whether it be before or after Sunswords, and among them she spends time with [[Dave]]. Also in Sunswords and Band of Thieves, Dave is not a captain, but in Porc Hunters he is. Promotion maybe, but also possibly a demotion so it does not prove anything.

=== Porc Hunters precedes Band of Thieves ===
The time span between [[Sunswords]] and [[Porc Hunters]] is likely very short, as Phineas is similarly aged in both campaigns. In this time Gwyneth would have to have a reason (ie. injury or baby) to leave the Sunswords and go live with some Sun Clerics. [[Dave]] would also have to have a reason for why he should leave and go with her. It is possible that Dave left the Sunswords with Gwyneth and went to live with Sun Clerics, as Gwyneth may have broken up with [[Xavius]] and started going out with [[Dave]] instead, as Gwyneth hinted in Sunswords that Dave might end up as her next boyfriend.

It is possible, therefore, that the two are dating in Porc Hunters (whilst they are both part of the Sunswords taking prisoners to the [[Silver Mine Mountains]]), which would explain why [[Ca-Rell]] asked Dave how Gwyneth is. It's possible that the party was split at the time of Porc Hunters, with Gwyneth leading one expedition and Dave, her number two, leading another. Dave then gets Gwyneth pregnant and they leave the Sunswords to go to live with some Sun Clerics. During [[Band of Thieves]] Gwyneth is pregnant with Dave's child and then afterwards she gives birth. This would mean that Band of Thieves happens a non-specific time after Porc Hunters.

However, this theory is flawed in two major ways. Firstly, Dave dies in [[Murder Bros]] while escorting Chimera to the Silvermine Mountains, which might happen directly after Porc Hunters, in which he was also escorting Chimera. If Murder Bros does indeed happen shortly after Porc Hunters, then Dave wouldn't be able to stick around for Band of Thieves, as he'd be dead. In addition, there is no mention of Gwyneth having a child in [[The Silvermine Mountains]], nor is there any mention of a relationship with Dave in either Band of Thieves or The Silvermine Mountains.

Because of the short amount of time between Porc Hunters and Dave's death, it's highly unlikely that Band of Thieves, which features Dave, happens between the two campaigns, and it is much more likely that it happens some time before Porc Hunters.

At some point after [[Porc Hunters]], Porco killed Ca-Rell and took Lieutenant Surge from her, later leaving the cave, renaming himself Merci, and becoming a pirate. At some point he skinned his captain and became captain himself. After Kinney joined the crew, Merci gave Lieutenant Surge to Kinney as a gift since they are dating (thought because Merci was in his cabin for 13 days and Kinney's coat was also in Merci's cabin). This could potentially mean that The Jewel of the Dingo Isles occurs many years after Porc Hunters.

This theory is currently very unlikely because of [[Phineas Barringster|Phineas]] appearing as a young child in both [[Porc Hunters]] and [[The New Crew]], which means that the time between these campaigns is likely not more than a few years. However, it has never been stated in canon how long elf children remain similarly aged, so it's unknown how long Phineas has had or will have the appearance of a young child.

In The Unseen Rogues, he comes out of the [[Vampire Locket]] and tries to take revenge on [[Omally]], the person who supposedly killed his ancestor. Omally specifically mentions that the kobold attacking him is supposed to be dead, likely referring to Romulus's ancestor. However, it is unlikely that Omally would mistake an old man kobold for a different adult Kobold aside from a passing family resemblance, leading to the possibility that Romulus comes from some point in the future.

They then entrusted [[Gwyneth]] to wear the key around her neck at all times while they researched what the key was used for. Nisovin, seeing that an outright assault on the elves failed to get the key, hires [[Yumi]] to take it by stealth.

He eventually describes it as orange and glowing but when it seems like the thieves might try to trick him, he immediately warns "Don't just cover a key with tang and bring it back to me!". In [[The New Crew]] when Nisovin gives [[Merci]] the mission, he describes the key as "tang colored". It could be reasoned that Nisovin only thought about it being "tang colored" after his original warning to the thieves. This may also be the reason why [[Fenrus]] was weaker in New Crew then in Band of Thieves, because he was still recovering from the previous battle.

Nisovin hired [[Yumi]] and her band of Thieves to sneak into the Temple of the Fallen Sun and steal the key originally. However, when they failed the key was moved to a more secure location on the remote island of [[Laeyuleaugh]] where the Sunswords had a summer home. With the key only reachable by sea, Nisovin then hired the crew of the [[Bocoe]], who had, in [[The Jewel of the Dingo Isles]], already proven themselves before to him, to try to steal the key once more.

In [[Band of Thieves]], [[Squinks]] starts showing contempt for [[Yumi]], since all of Yumi's plans are the same. He ends up betraying the party, and only rejoins [[Yumi]] while escaping the Sunsword Village. It's unlikely the two would stay together for very long, so it's possible that Squinks left Yumi's band of thieves and ended up in the band of thieves fought in [[The Unseen Rogues]].

[[Rob]], in an out of character sense, asked if [[Patrick Cake]] from [[Guild of Explorers]] was present in the audience. Rob then rolled, and got an 18. [[Deadbones]] then stated that a Gnome started screaming, implying that Patrick was in the crowd, but didn't explain any further. If that gnome was Patrick, this would be a PTSD attack of his. If he was present in the crowd, Guild of Explorers would be before Battle of the Bards.

The world of Unforgotten Realms was created during [[The Great Hatching]], when the twin [[Dragon Aspect]]s [[Phanto]] and [[Kallisto]] hatched from the primordial egg and created a utopian world inhabited by [[Elves]], [[Beenu]], and [[High Bears]], as well as their six children: [[Golestandt]], [[Yvander]], [[Quintara Lotus]], [[Rokesh]], [[Vlaurunga]], and [[Ouro'ras]].

However, due to an event involving the [[Beenu]], Phanto died and became the moon, with Kallisto becoming the sun. This event caused magic to fracture from only Light magic into the six schools of magic: Light, Fire, Earth, Ice, Arcane, and Dark. Golestandt was hit hardest by the loss of his parent and went completely feral as the embodiment of Dark magic. From this point forward, Death entered the world, and the Beenu, unable to reproduce, eventually died out.

Following this event, [[Thor]] created various races including the [[Dwarves]], [[Porcs]], [[Kobolds]], Shellmind, and Forn. [[Goblins]] were also created by an unknown divine, and [[Gnomes]] appeared out of nowhere. Slowly the world entered the current time that the Unforgotten Realms Live and Sidequest shows, as well as Coe's Quest, are set in.

The common currency in Unforgotten Realms is Gold. Gold is made out of magical energy, as revealed in the [[Okagnoma Guild Hall]] campaign. Considering that the single large jewel obtained in [[The Jewel of the Dingo Isles]] was worth more than an entire room full of gold, it is likely that gold simply isn't worth as much as it is in real life, but this might also speak of the pricelessness of the jewel. In addition to Gold, people have also used Jewels, gems, and assorted treasures as monetary wealth, but it is currently unknown how they are represented in the overarching currency.
