Like other members of Yumi's Thieves, Gracias wears a crimson poncho with a gold broach. Gracias also carries around a large brown pack for his various treasures he collects, notably his Blunderbuss and Dragonskin Bow.

Gracias is a kind hearted sorcerer, preferring not to fight if he can. However when the situation arises he can handle is own in battle, opting for a tactical advantage whenever possible. He tries his best to protect his friends and allies, and is quickly angered when [[Yumi]] tries to desert them in battle, going so far as to attempt to trap them in the battle with his Rolling Fog spell. Gracias was tasked with watching over [[Bumbley|Dwarf Number Three]] during the Band of Thieves mission, a role he passed along to Philhipé. He also grew closely attached to Philhipé during their mission, using his final words before passing out to try to save him.

Philhipé became good friends with Gracias, causing him to look to Gracias for guidance instead of [[Yumi]], causing a strong sense of loyalty between the two.

In his later appearance in [[Den of Devils]], his manner appears to be somewhat more sinister, being more openly manipulative and agressive. While he's still very fond of making friends and protecting those he considers his friends, he's begun using to use his "friendships" as a means of self-preservation instead of any genuine connection. Gracias also shows a bossier and pushier side of his personality: becoming very upset when those he's attached himself to fail to protect him. In such circumstances, the gnome is prone to break ties with the offending person and moving on to the next friend, being very petty and childish to the former friend. He isn't above using his magic to force people into befriending him, or making them vow to protect him.

The cause of this change in personality is unknown, if there was any change at all.

Not much is known about Gracias' past, both before his joining of Yumi's band of thieves and during up until they contracted a job with [[Nisovin]].

Gracias successfully escaped the Sunswords by falling down a well.

===[[Den of Devils]]===
Gracias returns in the dragon lair located in Zelfatar. For the most part, he maintains his friendly attitude, but his personality has been altered some time between the separation of the thieves and Gracias' entry into the Guild of Explorers.

Gracias decides to speak to [[Lunk]] first, and he uses Soothe Spirits when Lunk is resistant to being hugged, telling him to "Die on my behalf" because that's what friends do. After the two share their motivation for entering the lair, with Gracias saying he wants to befriend the dragon, the group starts forward.

During the first encounter, Gracias attempts to hug the Whelpling, but it merely causes him to be flung to one of the rocks on the nearby lava lake. He deals a decent amount of damage during the battle and eventually jumps back to finish off the Whelpling, though [[Duke Daring]] nearly gets Gracias killed in attempt to steal the finishing blow.

After the fight ends, Gracias confronts Lunk about his lack of assistance, to which Lunk replies that Gracias didn't do anything when Denzik was mind controlled. Lunk leaves him shortly afterwards, and Gracias decides to search for a new best friend.

During the battle on the lava lake, Gracias attempts to hug the giant Flame Spooky, but ends up setting himself on fire and coming dangerously close to falling in the lava. He spends the rest of the encounter using his gun instead.

After the group succeeds once again, Gracias approaches Duke Daring and uses Soothe Spirits to befriend and hug him, hoping for additional protection in the next encounter. Duke Daring promises he'll get Gracias out of the lair alive.

In the final battle, as the group is trying to escape, Gracias combines his Rolling Fog with [[Michael Langstrom]]'s slime wall to keep one of the Whelplings from reaching Nisovin. He then sneaks around and attempts to hug the whelpling's tail from behind, but it turns out to be a fatal mistake as it results in him getting thrown in front of a dangerous breath attack.

Gracias, mind controlled by a Dragon Whelpling and unable to get out of the way of its Creation Breath, was almost killed from it. [[Usu]] stole Gracias's Blunderbuss and threw him against a wall, believing Gracias was Dead. As Gracias bled to death, [[Lunk]] accidentally stepped on his body, crushing it immediately.

Due to her ingesting the Silver Scales of the Dragon Aspects, Empusa at first looks rather old, with her features sagging, but after ingesting becomes quite young.

This lead to Empusa and her brother Chimera forming the Murder Bros and stealing from the Elves as often as they could. Eventually, Chimera was captured and detained by the Sunsword Elf [[Dave]] and was being transferred to the [[Silvermine Mountains (Location)|Silvermine Mountains]].

Empusa planned on rescuing her brother and obtain a shipment of Silver Scales with the help of the Ancient Elf [[Orvan Weiss]] in the town of Silverflats.

===[[Murder Bros]]===
Empusa and her gang met with Orvan Weiss in the tavern of Silverflats undercover. Empusa had her right hand Kobold [[Conner|"Long Con" Conner]] search for information about the train schedule with the Silver Scales and Chimera, while she worked [[Sheriff Hardrock]] by making him fall head over heels with her. However her gang began drinking copious amounts of E.X.X.X.P. Ale which caused several ruckuses in the bar. Eventually she had to step in and "quietly" remind her men to focus on the job. After they drunkenly gain the information, the gang make their way to the location of the carriage that has the train schedule.

They make their way to intersect the pathway of an arriving carriage which is said to have the schedule, but is gaurded by the Sunswords. Empusa disguises Weiss as a Noble Elf to distract the Sunswords long enough for the rest of the members to jump them from behind. However, as Empusa manages to gain control of the carriage, her men began to suffer from the hallucinogenic properties of the ale and started to attack the carriage. Empusa snapped her men out of it, and showed them their bounty: the train schedule and an member of the Marie Gnome family, [[Jessabelle Marie]]. She argued with Conner about what to do with the girl as Empusa wanted to just kill her, however Conner suffered from [http://live.urealms.com/cards#legendary-00013-lovestruck Love Struck] and was cursed to love Marie. They decide to drag her back to the town, where they find that the town is very aware that they are the infamous Murder Bros.

Empusa joined Johnny and Weiss in attacking the Tavern from a damaged hole in the while, while Borracho, Bubs and Tubs distracted the bulk of the townsfolk from the middle of town. Once they defeated most of the citizens and members of Sheriff Hardrock's forces, the Murder Bros gather their forces at one end of the town, while the Sheriff gathers his remaining members at the other. However, Johnny eliminated nearly 80% of the Sheriff's forces, causing them to retreat into the Train Station before being surrounded and eventually gunned down by the Murder Bros.

The gang then ride off on their Groundbolds attempting to catch the train with the shipment of Silver Scales, however they suffer from one last hallucination from the E.X.X.X.P. Ale. They now believe that the Train is a living entity attempting to kill them. They unload as much magic and physically power they can to "defeat the Train," which results in the hallucination wearing off and the real train to derail from the damage. The gang then take out the remaining members of the Sunswords while freeing Chimera the Kobold. The bandits have taken the train.

Not much is known about Chimera, but he was once the leader of the [[List of Organizations#The Murder Brothers|Murder Brothers]] along with his sister [[Empusa]] who had been stealing the Silver Scales of the Dragon Aspect [[Golestandt]] to remain young and at her prime. However, Chimera was captured by [[The Sunswords Military]] after [[Snitch McGitch]] of the town of [[Silverflats]] ratted him and the group out. Chimera was captured and hauled imprisoned by [[Dave|Captain Dave Davidson]] through the town of [[Danevur]] and to the [[Silvermine Mountains (Location)|Silvermine Mountains]]. It is also known that Chimera is aware of the presence and influence of divine beings (chat) during campaigns.

When [[List_of_Organizations#Theta Squad|Theta Squad]] found Chimera, he was locked in a prison transport heading to the [[Silvermine Mountains (Location)|Silvermine Mountains]] for stealing from the [[Elf|Elves]], being escorted by a group of Elves led by [[Dave]]. He was referred to as the 'Greatest Criminal of the Lands'. As [[Ca-Rell]] and Dave were having a conversation, Chimera broke free of the wagon, picked up his treasures and began attacking the Elves. However, Chimera was defeated by Theta Squad and returned to the custody of Dave, where he resumed his path to be taken to the Silvermine Mountains.

Sometime after the events at Danevur, Chimera was transferred to a holding cell on a train headed through Silverflats to the Silvermine Mountains. His presence aboard the train was hidden from the public, but was somehow told to his sister [[Empusa]]. Empusa planned with the Murder Bros to take the train and retrieve her brother along with the special cargo of Silver Scales. Empusa and her gang managed to derail the train as it was headed to the Mountains, causing the Sunsword Military force to attack their robbers by the wreckage. However they were slowly killed off by the murderous bandits, leaving the Sunsword Captain [[Dave]] the last one alive. Dave, in a weaken and desperate attempt, ran to his chest of self-made stories but was cut off by the newly escaped Chimera. Wielding his windfury blades, Chimera beheaded his captor, and rejoined his gang.

Chimera and his gang hid in a cave near Silverflats. He left a note for chat to see, revealing that he was fully aware of chat's presence and influence during campaigns, imploring chat to join his side. However, in the end, chat chose the Law, and subsequently Chimera and most of his gang, except Empusa and Orvan Weiss, were captured by [[Galen Sunsword]].

Conner's parents forced the Kobold to be out on the street as a begger at a very young age, where he learned he could lie and steal with a high chance of success. This caused Conner to leave his large family and set out to be a thief, this is where he met the Murder Bros and became a prominent member of their gang.

Conner joins his compatriots in discussing a plan with Orvan Weiss in a tavern of the town of Silverflats. Weiss and Empusa discuss a shipment of Silver Scales arriving by train and Empusa tasks the gang to gain information about the train schedule. However after heavily drinking E.X.X.X.P. Ale, the group barely arrives at the information and stumbles out of the bar.

They make their way to intersect the pathway of an arriving carriage which is said to have the schedule, but is guarded by the Sunswords. Weiss is then disguised to distract the Sunswords long enough for the rest of the members to jump them from behind. Conner is a male Kobold with a tear mark tattoo under his eye. Conner wears a leather jacket and pants and has his eyes obscured by sunglasses.

===Personality===
Conner is a very calm Kobold murderer. He is known to be very laid back, however will get into the fray as commanded by Empusa. He won't hesitate to eliminate any targets in the gang's way, with the only exception being [[Jessabelle Marie]], who cursed Conner to be in love with her. This curse caused a lot of issues in the group, mainly concerning his value as a murderer by his bros. It was not until Jessabelle fled the area did he resume his original acts of murder and hefty drinking.

Conner is also very intelligent, finding out various information from the common townsfolk very easily in comparison to his gang brothers. However, his heavy drinking may impact his judgement, leading to heavy amounts of hallucinations.

===Relationships===
Conner has a very strained relationship with his family, whom he ran away from after discovering his knack for theft and lying. Leaving his parents and six or seven brothers and sisters to fend for himself as criminal. He did develop a stronger relationship with his new found family among the Murder Bros, being a faithful member to both leaders [[Chimera]] and [[Empusa]], even growing in rank to the second-in-command.

Conner has a deeply one-sided infatuation toward [[Jessebelle Marie]] after falling under a curse. Jessebelle shows absolutely no interest in the Kobold and makes every effort to get away from him. Conner's feelings for the female gnome repeatedly causes issues with the group dynamic.

===Background===
Conner was born to a large Kobold family, with seven or six brothers and sisters. Conner's parents forced the Kobold to be out on the street as a begger at a very young age, where he learned he could lie and steal with a high chance of success. This caused Conner to leave his large family and set out to be a thief, this is where he met the Murder Bros and became a prominent member of their gang.

Conner joins his compatriots in discussing a plan with Orvan Weiss in a tavern of the town of Silverflats. Weiss and Empusa discuss a shipment of Silver Scales arriving by train and Empusa tasks the gang to gain information about the train schedule. However after heavily drinking E.X.X.X.P. Ale, the group barely arrives at the information and stumbles out of the bar.

They make their way to intersect the pathway of an arriving carriage which is said to have the schedule, but is guarded by the Sunswords. Weiss is then disguised to distract the Sunswords long enough for the rest of the members to jump them from behind. However, as they in act their plan, they suffer from the hallucinogenic properties of E.X.X.X.P. Ale, and believe they are fighting a large tentacle monster that formed from the carriage. Having believed to have "defeated" the Carriage, they snap out of their hallucination and investigate the carriage with Empusa. They find a young Gnome girl who happens to be from the wealthy family of the Maries, Jessabelle Marie. Conner is subjected to Jessabelle's magic mental alterations and becomes [[Legendaries#Lovestruck|Lovestruck]] with her, cursing him to protect her. After arguing with the rest of the group, Conner convinces them that protecting her is in their best interest. They return to the town, with Jessabelle tied up in tow, and find that the whole town is now aware that they are the infamous Murder Bros.

Conner and the group return to arguing about keeping Jessabelle alive, as Conner was tasked with killing her. Due to Lovestruck, Conner argued until Borracho intervened and said he will do the deed. However as Borracho was about to kill her, Conner continued after them, letting Jessabelle talk her way out of the situation by implying that she can be helpful to the group. When Borracho let Bubs hold the rope, she slipped away and the group returned to the problem at hand.

Conner joined Empusa and Weiss in breaking into the bar and killing the townsfolk there, while Borracho, Tubs and Bubs along with Borracho's cartel took care of the rest of the Sheriff's men. Once the barsfolk were killed, Conner played a bit of the paino, which he found that he was impressively good at. He joined the rest of the Murder Bros bandit army outside, facing down the few men left aligned with the Sheriff. Johnny pulled out his six shooters and defeated all but a handful left of the men, causing them to retreat into the train station. They were surrounded and eventually gunned down by the Murder Bros.

The gang then ride off on their Groundbolds attempting to catch the train with the shipment of Silver Scales, however they suffer from one last hallucination from the E.X.X.X.P. Ale. They now believe that the Train is a living entity attempting to kill them. They unload as much magic and physically power they can to "defeat the Train," which results in the hallucination wearing off and the real train to derail from the damage. The gang then take out the remaining members of the Sunswords while freeing Chimera the Kobold. The bandits have taken the train.

Borracho is a very loyal member of the Murder Bros, even willing to kill a young Gnome girl for the boss without hesitation. He is often the most laid back member of the group, not being worked up unless the group works against their murderous nature. He is often seen sleeping or drinking when not on jobs, and sometimes even when he is on a job. Most times.

===Relationships===
Borracho is a very friendly Kobold to his compatriots, often referring to [[Conner]] and [[Johnny Feo]] as his "bros" or "hermanos," and is very kind to them. He will, however, berate them if they appear to be going against the Murder Bros' life style of murder, questioning their ways. He is also very open to non-Kobolds in the gang as he quickly accepted [[Orvan Weiss|Dead Eye]] into the group without much opposition, however he would often refer to him as "pendejo," leading to some confusion on Dead Eye's part.

Borracho also has access to a Kobold Cartel that he has often called upon, however it is unknown how close he is to his Cartel, but he has mentioned in passing that they are all referred to as "Taco."

Borracho is apparently the very Kobold who killed the wife of [[Sly Johnson]] in a piano-related accident. Sly and Borracho are shown to be openly hostile towards one-another in their brief interactions: Borracho openly makes light of the accident to rile up Sly, showing very little remorse for the incident. Meanwhile Sly has gone on to personally blame Kobolds as a species for the death of his spouse.

Borracho was a young orphan who grew up going from job to job as a bandit, stealing and drinking his way through life. During this time, Borracho saw the birth of the Porc [[Bubs]], an accidental Porc who joined Borracho in his thieving deeds and eventually joined the Murder Bros. He became a lifelong member of the Murder Bros during Chimera's time as leader and during Empusa's.

However, Johnny eliminated nearly 75% of the Sheriff's remain forces, causing them to retreat into the Train Station before being surrounded and eventually gunned down by the Murder Bros.

Sly Johnson is a law abiding Dwarf, with a hidden power and the inability to let go of grudges. Sly has been a Deputy for many years and has grown accustom to the travelling lifestyle, never fully settling down and turning down the promotion to Sheriff. Sly also has the ability to read minds, using it in his deputy work to find criminals. He, however, keeps this ability a closely guarded secret, going out of his way to find alternative explanations to his knowledge.

Sly is very prone to holding deep grudges. He holds all Kobolds responsible for the death of his Wife, after one kobold delivering a piano accidentally dropped it on her. He also holds a grudge against his cousin [[Sallazar Thornblade]], after the offending dwarf had relations with Sly's sister.

Sly has a good relationship with his client, Jax Blartowitz, and the other hired mercenaries.

With [[Jax Blartowitz]], Sly has proven to be a faithful deputy, even going so far to remove the temptation of the criminal element from Jax.

With [[Lann McRoberts]], Sly acknowledges his capabilities as a Sharp Swordsman, but doesn't interact with him much, beyond that.

With [[Reno Gillgully]], Sly became fond of him due to his very to-the-point attitude.

Sly is extremely bitter towards [[the Murder Bros]] member, [[Borracho]]; the very kobold who had dropped a piano on his wife. Although alluded to throughout the campaign as a song sung to the young Prince Phineas Dundinborough, Bopen does not actually make an appearance until the very end of the campaign, during a overwhelming Ageless raid on the Dwarven kingdom. Bopen, having possessed the golden sword owned by the young Prince of Dundinborough, takes control of the young royal and has the boy kill his parents and himself while the family was hidden away in the royal panic room. His malevolent spirit then takes the bones of the royal family of Dundenborough to form a skeletal body of his own. Bopen then attacks a group of royal guards who had witnessed his slaughter, killing the guard [[Jeanie Jaredson]] in one fell swoop. His slaughter of the royal guard was quickly halted by the sudden intervention of [[Lance Willakers]]. Despite this, Bopen decimates Dundinborough absolutely, destroying the last dwarven stronghold in a single night.

Later on, after hearing of Are'ani's visions of the [[Gwyneth Sunsword|Gwyneth]] and [[Virgo Sunsword]], Bopen takes it as an omen to go and face the elder elf at sea. After catching up to Virgo's ship ([[The New Crew|which has recently captured a vessel of Porc Pirates]]), Bopen launches a full on assault on the Elven vessel. Although the Sunsword army hold its own against Bopen's Ageless Pirates, the battle slowly begins to lean in favor toward the pirates. Bopen faces Virgo in one-on-one combat, caught in stalemate with the powerful Elf Paladin. The tide of battle shifts when Virgo an magical attack that destroys Bopen's skull, appearing to kill the Skeleton King. To Virgo's horror, Bopen's headless skeletal body rises into the air. In one fell swoop, Bopen decapitates Virgo and burns the flesh off the skull, charring it black. Bopen takes Virgo's skull and cackles in victory.

Additionally, Bopen alludes to the fact that he retains vague memories of the deceased Prince Dundinborough, due to possessing the former prince's skull as his own.

Later on, after hearing of Are'ani's visions of the [[Gwyneth Sunsword|Gwyneth]] and [[Virgo Sunsword]], Bopen takes it as an omen to go and face the elder elf at sea. After catching up to Virgo's ship ([[The New Crew|which has recently captured a vessel of Porc Pirates]]), Bopen launches a full on assault on the Elven vessel. Although the Sunsword army hold its own against Bopen's Ageless Pirates, the battle slowly begins to lean in favor toward the pirates. Bopen faces Virgo in one-on-one combat, caught in stalemate with the powerful Elf Paladin. The tide of battle shifts when Virgo an magical attack that destroys Bopen's skull, appearing to kill the Skeleton King. To Virgo's horror, Bopen's headless skeletal body rises into the air. In one fell swoop, Bopen decapitates Virgo and burns the flesh off the skull, charring it black. Bopen takes Virgo's skull and cackles in victory.
